I currently work as an Associate Editor for the Clean Middle East magazine which is part of the Media Fusion Group in UAE. The magazine focuses on the professional cleaning and facility management industry in the middle east region. My job profile is:
- Responsible for the editorial content
- Writing features, news items and sponsored advertorials.
- Covering industry news stories, events, executive interviews etc
Summary
10 years of experience in News Television. Along with Directing and Producing shows for the channel my responsibility is to maintain production & editorial standards of the channel, apart from overseeing production of specials & other regular shows.
As news producer I have developed my news sense as strength and the capacity to understand television helps me visualize stories which the audience can easily connect to.
I have an understanding of the newsroom integration processes & also various other technical requirements which can enhance input gathering for the channel
Taking care of whole social media marketing and promotion of the shows produced.
News Production
o Responsible for wholesome packaging of various shows.
o Involved in end-to-end conceptualization of shows.
o Building rundown for the show
o Ground research for long-format shows.
o Providing inputs for editorial aspects.
o Checking the scripts for the shows.
o Taking care of the content for the daily news.
o Doing extensive research for the special shows on the weekly topics and choosing the panel. Researching on the editorial line of the show.
o Headed selection and liaison with guests in shows. Talking to the guests and discussing their view point on the topic of the debate before choosing them on the panel.
o Coordinating the travel and stay and other requirements of the guests for the shows.
o Budgeting and financial management.
o Production of sponsored events.
o Getting the CG (astons) and Graphics made for the show. Coordinating with the graphics designers to get the necessary elements made. Sit with them and get the elements approved by the sponsors as required.
o Taking care of Titles, Bumpers and teasers for shows.
o Responsible for promoting the shows on social media to get
more viewership.
o Promoting the shows on Facebook, Youtube twitter etc.
Direction
• As a Studio Director rolling and producing various programming formats( News, Debates, Sponsored events, Talk shows, outdoor shoots with and without audience) recorded as well as live.
• Managing technical requirements( uplinking/downlinking), Audio/video requirements from outdoor locations as well as studio recordings.
o Senior member of the production vertical and in-charge of the production control room operations
o Involved actively in the creative process for promos.
o Coordination with Traffic Department for airing promos while managing the commercials.

o Supervised editing of special shows by giving necessary inputs from production point of view.
o Worked closely with support teams like Engineering, Broadcast, IT & Tech, Marketing, Sales, Brand Development and maximizing all promotion and synergy activities.
o Worked on creative and design of the Channel from conception to execution, this included getting designed logos, Set Designs, Channel Id, Shows, Promos, Graphics, Tickers, Screen shots and creatively integrating various elements into daily shows
o Directied Lifestyle events for the Lifestyle channel of NDTV ( NDTV GOODTIMES) such as fashion shows, award functions, musical shows etc.
Team Leading
o Assisting Channel Head in daily management of the channel, Additional responsibilities included supervision of editing, live feeds and technical, graphics, set designs and lighting, marketing of concepts, data and software, creative and promos as well as coordinated with the respective teams.
o Led a team of 8 - 10 people in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment as well on outdoor locations & chaotic situations.
