Responsible to manage the Operational Risk of the following areas and reporting directly to the Group Operational Risk Management:
Global Market (Treasury Front and Back Office), O&CC (Corporate), Credit, Credit Risk Control, Transaction Banking, Loan Processing Unit, Trade Finance, Cash Management, Securities Services & Customer Services Group.
Executive Management position directly reporting to the President and the Board on all issues of Risk Management covering Credit, Operational and Market risks, implementation of Basel II, development and implementation of Risk Modules, Risk Policies, Systems implementation and adopts the best Banking practices from the perspective of Risk Management using modern techniques, also an active member of the Senior Management Team responsible for Restructuring of the Bank under the aegis of Asian Development Bank.
Achievements:
- Implement effective Cash Management through ALCO which resulted in improving the Bank fund placement yield from 1.5% in December 2004 to 8.50% in December 2006.
- Developed recovery strategy for SAM portfolio.
- Developed monitoring mechanism for Credit/Operational Risk and reporting to Risk Committees for taking corrective measures in order to minimize the Risk Gap/s.
- Developed Crisis Management Plan, Emergency Evacuation Plan and Guidelines on Armed Robbery.
- Developed Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Plan (draft).
- Developed Liquidity Management Contingency Plan.
- Developed Treasury & Investment Policy.
- Developed Road Map for the implementation of Basel II.
- Developed guidelines on Anti Money Laundering & Terrorism Financing.

Develop & implement Operational Risk module and monitoring tool for all concern areas of the Bank. The model includes Risk associated with Information System, Processing, Reputation, Human Resources, Documentation, Regulatory & Compliance, Legal, Marketing & Customer Service, Bank Security, Treasury and Business Continuity.
Report to Risk Committee and Board of Directors on potential exposures on regular basis. Ensure that corrective measures are taken to either eliminate or minimize the identified risk within the accepted tolerance level of the Bank.

In addition review draft Policies and Procedures, provide Risk Management comments on Risk issues. Review and consolidate issues raised by the Internal, External and Central Bank Auditors and discuss with the respective Auditee Management and ensure corrective measures are taken in a timely manner in order to either eliminate or minimize the risk issues and to be in compliance with the Auditors reports.

Review proposed Policies/Procedures manual and new Products/System to ensure that risk associated are duly covered and controls are effective. Submit suggestions & recommendations on their acceptability.
Conduct Special Investigation and report all findings with the recommendations to the Management.
Represent Internal Audit as a Consultant to Business Process Re-Engineering.
