Responsible for the entire vendor selection process starting from floating inquiry till procuring and transferring materials to the site.
• Create RFQ for the materials and services, for projects, departments, for project materials, consumables, fixed assets, equipment’s, services and sub contracts.
• Locates and establishes vendors for materials as requisitioned by Engineering/Project Management.
• Float RFQ to suppliers, follow up and obtain quotations.
• Techno‐commercial evaluation and preparation of comparative statements.
• Issuing Purchase Order to the suppliers as per the requirement of project.
• Receive purchase order acknowledgement and execution schedules from suppliers.
• Ensure material purchased meets requirements and applicable specifications.
• Follow‐up on material delivery and documentation requirements.
• Follow client standards and procedures for inspection, documentation requirements and delivery requirements.
• Work with material department/ shipping in resolution of material delivery issues.
• Coordinate logistics activities between supplier and concerned parties.
• Generating reports in MS-EXCEL for the Purchase requisitions, RFQ’s and PO’s.
• Weekly planning and progress report according to project requirements.
• Monitoring of the Document control and expediting activities concerning the above purchasing documents.
• Attending meetings with project team.
• Attending vendor facilities, as necessary in expediting and follow up.
• Generating vendor database for the materials and services.

• Maintaining vendor relationship, vendor database and tracking the performance of existing suppliers.
Responsibilities:
• To make arrangements for procurement of raw materials, machinery and equipment required by Production departments, Engineering and Quality Assurance Departments from local and foreign sources.
• To get most competitive prices through negotiations at the time of obtaining offers from approved sources.
• To develop new reliable sources of supplies for existing and new materials and maintain their records.
• Dealing with suppliers.
• Implement procurement strategy and policies.
• Forecast procurement needs.
• Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipment in a timely and cost effective way; timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
• Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and get quotes from them in order to make cost comparison.
• Review quotations.
• Track Purchasing activity.
• Analyze market and delivery system.
• Assess present and future material availability and plan material purchase accordingly.
• Order materials as per negotiated and appropriately approved price.
• Negotiate contracts and formulate credit and supply policies with suppliers.
• Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers for surplus/scrap material.
• Ensure supplier compliance with site and company requirements for safety.
• Discuss defective or unacceptable new goods with users, vendors and others to determine cause of problem and take corrective and preventative action.
• Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying.

* Evaluate and suggest product and service solutions in line with client needs and requirements.
* Preparing and recommending the procurement plans / bidding strategies to best suit the project plan.
* Generate and submit weekly project status and progress report to senior level management to support business directives.
* Experience in all kind of instruments which is under Flow, Pressure, Temperature & level.

Scope:
Follow up Engineering design, Installation, Pre-commissioning, commissioning of field bus system, Electrical, Field Instrument and control system around the process and improve the centralized SCADA operation and performance/optimization the system
Responsibilities:
• Worked as Service Engineer associate in maintenance dept. Maintenance, Trouble shooting of plc based Special purpose machines.
• Involved in the functional tests, loop tests, calibration of the field instruments.
• Contribution to P&I development, Instrument Summary, production, maintenance and the specification of Process Control equipment such as: Relief Valves, Flow Measuring Systems, Process Measurement Instrumentation, Emergency Shutdown Systems, PLC control systems.
