 Responsible for designing and execution of well program for directional wells through scanning of nearby wells, selection of survey program, & finalizing tool requirement for accuracy of geological target.
 Drilling of Directional wells using Motor, RSS & MWD/LWD tools.
 Drilled all types of directional wells such as horizontal, ERD, high angle & side-track wells for ONGC & Cairn India
 Designing of Bottom Hole assembly through selection of drilling bits, string stabilizer, drill collar & heavy weight and running jar placement program for effective placement
 Perform rigorous planning of hydraulics & torque and drag to comply with maximum working pressure friction factor and tubular strength.
 Performed incident investigation and selection of concepts for the improvement, applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
 Provide drilling expertise and assist in communicating with drilling operation team and directs, instructs, and supports drilling operations
 Ensures that drilling operations are performed in accordance with the set drilling programs, standards, policies & procedures
 Provides technical support, exchange information and render engineering assistance in drilling engineering and operations.
 Perform investigation/evaluation of drilling operations /engineering problem/concerns which impact the drilling operations and programs. Coordinate with sub-subsurface geoscientist when require for work improvement and resources optimizations.
 Maintains knowledge and skills of the latest technologies and methods, and recommends their application or introduction for drilling operations/engineering
 Reviews and endorses engineering analyses and study reports prepared by subordinates; Compiles reports and prepares integrated technical summaries and reports for submission to next levels and other outside organizations
 Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

Directional Drilling
 Responsible for designing and execution of well program for directional wells by running Anti-collision
& hydraulic program
 Designing the Bottom Hole assembly by selecting drilling bits with the respect to the formation,
placement of string stabilizer with respect to the planned well profile, selection of number drill collar &
heavy weight with respect to required drill string stiffness & flexibility and to keep neutron point at drill
collar and placement of drilling jar in accordance with required weight below & above jar
 Selection of drilling parameter for drilling of different formation with respect of drilling bit used and
maximum weight on bit available
 Organizing and conducting pre- job safety meeting and assessing hazards prior to every job.
 Comply with all laws and company policies including: safety, environmental health, and personnel
standard

Directional Drilling
 Ran Positive Pulse MWD Tools with Gamma for L-type, S-type and Horizontal Wells on various locations
in Ahmedabad, Karaikal (Cauvery) & Assam Assets of O.N.G.C Ltd.
 Worked at Deep Sea Mat Drill Rig at Palk Bay Shallow, Cauvery Offshore.
 Responsible for preparing, lowering, servicing of MWD Tools.
 Maintained and Operated MWD surface systems on rig site.
 Coordinated with company men, drillers, directional drillers and geologists for interpretation of data.
 Maintained records of tools and documented records.
 Prepared monthly reports on work assignments.
 Responsible for monitoring down-hole drilling conditions while drilling.
