Business Development
• Handling key accounts & retaining/generating business for the Organisation.
• Coordinating with Overseas Suppliers, offices & Agents for better pricing and day to day transactions.
• Providing weekly metric reports to the clients in line with KPIs.

• Realization and Repatriation of proceeds for all exporters including SEZ, EOUs, STP, EHTP.

Single point window for handling logistics business of key clients through Strategic Planning, Overseas Supplier Coordination, Business Development, Customer Relationship & managing day-to-day performance to meet service & a maximization of revenue, cost, delivery and quality norms.
-Market Condition & Customer Expectations:
• Gathering & Analysing Business requirements: Responsible for gathering the business requirement and creating a clear picture of what needs to be delivered
• Creating a complete set of requirements up front enables cost estimates, better planning shorter delivery cycles and improves customer satisfaction and adoption of the final outcome.
• Research & Development: Engagement in thorough research to figure out all available options for client, which should be cost efficient, time efficient and all possibilities to develop business further. It involves study of Customer requirements/need/desires along all legal formalities.
-Supplier Selection & Negotiations:
• Supplier selection on the basis of Target rates, availability, location, services, policies & guidelines
• Rate negotiation with overseas supplier for our product Import team.
• Responsible for undertaking freight negotiations with shipping companies, airlines.
• Responsible for all activities relating to cost effective deliveries
• To ensure account meets its income targets for each and every client
• Incoterms to be used at the time of pickup (Ex-works, FCA, FOB, CIF, DDP, DDU, DAP)
-Transportation & Freight Forwarding:
• Availability of vessels in coordination with shipping lines
• Ensure to have proper coordination with shipping lines, agents & transporters for better services
• Clearance & on time delivery
• Ensure to have required documents on time
• Responsible for preparing Invoices, tracking shipments and communicate with clients.
• Planning route and mode of cargo to achieve cost effectiveness and revenue targets.

• Samsung / Philips / Apc-Schneider / Honeywell/ Nikon/ Faiveley /LG
Holds charge of Duty operations of Export related functions and ensure compliance if instructions issued from time to time.
Ensures all facilities in export TD gate are in working condition and suitable action is taken for any irregularities or malfunctioning if observed. Monitors proper functioning of weighing scales and smooth operation in examination area, X-ray machine and equipment arrangements. In case of congestion must take an appropriate action.
Co-ordinates with customs and ICMS in case of change in procedure and implementation for smooth and speedy handling of shift operations.
Attends all customer services issues of export cargo terminal and ensure prompt action to their complaints.
Ensures acceptance and handling of all special cargo (DGR / VAL / sensitive) to be done and recorded as per IATA standards.
Attends all airlines audit as and when required.
Ensures handling agency manpower and equipment attendance maintained and recorded on daily basis.
Supervises and monitors document check and receipt of export cargo during their respective shifts. Ensures 100% Weight / Volume check done and registered in system.
Ensure manpower / groups provided to Airlines serial wise.
Monitor packages/complete cargo counted and loaded into ULDs as per Airway bill.
Monitor and ensure proper lashing of ULDs to avoid bulging of cargo from ULDs to avoid subsequent complaints.
Ensure damage packages re-taped and in fit to fly condition before loading into ULD.
Monitor and ensure Lower Deck and Main Deck pallets height is measured as per standard.
Ensure loaded ULDs released stacked in ETV.
Ensure contour loaded and adequate arrangement of (dollies) made to release and stack the ULD.
