Forecasting for turbine parts which are having lead time of 18 months for major outages.
Weekly forecast variance analysis w.r.t actuals.
Order management for Turbine parts and logistics handling.
Find out the major Tech-comp which is contributing for variance and detailed drill down analysis to the client.
Initiated SN level analysis which throws root cause of the variance in forecast and possible improvement slides to client.
Cost savings and inventory monitoring.
Member of forecasting team for GE turbine parts and implementing new forecasting techniques for better productivity.
Attending video conference with global customers every week for project status update.
Routing guide preparation with minimal logistics cost & mentoring contracts with service providers.
Key Deliverables:
Ordering, tracking and monitoring deliveries based on forecast.
Follow-up with the supplier and make sure that the materials will be handover to Freight Forwarder on time for imports.
Well versed with customs procedure and implemented “Advance License” to save duty on raw materials which are importing from ASEAN countries.
Inventory planning with ensuring effective management of (A, B. C) class of materials at target levels.
Forecast and monitoring on the monthly ordering process by considering proper lead time and fulfill production requirements. And updating correct quarter prices in SAP (in case of imports).
Doing Variance analysis of flow parts and publishing reports to management.
Creating Local and Import Supplier agreements with price and NDA documents.
Development of Local suppliers for import substitution & cost reduction.
Vendor yearly rating as per organization guidelines and conducting interaction sessions with vendors.
BE in ECE branch with 76.4% marks.
