A. Ensure Patient care activities are within established hospital, divisional and unit specific guidelines, policies and procedures, standards and protocols..etc
B. Facilitates care provided and assess staff by maintaining high visibility (80% Clinical Presence) to Patients, Families, Visitors and staff.
C. Provide a leadership and role resource in the provision of patient care and other unit activities.
D. Demonstrates effective communication and collaboration skills when interacting with patients, families and staff from other health care provider areas.
E. Staff Management to include recruitment, education, development, training and evaluation as well as delegation of work flow, schedules …etc.
F. Review, plan, manages, and monitor the unit budget.
G. Participate in committees and workgroups as required.
H. Develops, Modifies and Review and ensure implementations of policies and procedures in the area assigned.
I. Conduct staff meetings and maintains minutes.
J. Maintains all records pertaining to the operation of the area of assignment and generates reports as required.
K. Assess and develops and then monitors the effectiveness of standards of care and nursing unit policies and procedures.
L. Assume responsibility for my professional development and growth.
M. Participates in teaching and mentoring of nursing, Medical and paramedical students, interns and residents.
N. Works with all health care team members in activities designed for the improvement of patients care outcome.
O. Develops, Participates and implements quality improvement programs and process to ensure high quality care given to patients in a safe environment.
P. Serves as a professional role model, teacher, resource person.
Q. Demonstrate respect, Compassion, and cultural sensitivity to patients, Families and other health care providers.

As ICU Head Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, Quality Improvement Coordinator &Trainer, i participate in shamisani hospital efforts to earn the jordanian health care accreditiation council certificate on November 2020, i benefit from my long experience and many courses to a cheive the work toward accreditation certificate
