Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University
  • United States - College Station
  • My current job since May 2017

I'm the senior experimental researcher at the Laboratory for Nuclear Heat and Transfer Systems (NHTS), working on optimizing the operating conditions of the BWR Reactor Core Isolation Cooling system (RCIC), based on the lessons learned from Fukishima accident.

Nuclear Engineer at Jordan Atomic Energy Commission
  • Jordan - Amman
  • June 2014 to May 2017

• Performing the design calculation that includes performing the pressure drop calculation for the fluid systems of the Jordan training and Research Reactor including PCS and SCS.
• Following up the systems commissioning activities at the construction site on daily basis.
• Reviewing the “as-built” Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID’s).
• Reviewing component’s design documents, specifications and vendors characteristics.
• Following-up the installation of the systems, structure and components guided by the Isometric drawing.
• Attending the cooling systems-corresponding tests, meetings, components’ installation and all other activities related to the commissioning and operation of the cooling system.

Researcher at Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute
  • Korea (South)
  • January 2012 to February 2014

Computational Fluid Dynamics: Numerical simulation of the heat exchanger to study the heat transfer using Computational Fluid Dynamics codes; FLUENT and CFX.
Nuclear Reactor Cooling System Design: Performing the pressure drop calculation for the fluidic systems of the Jordan training and Research Reactor including PCS and SCS.

Itern at Jordan Atomic Energy Comission
  • Jordan - Amman
  • July 2010 to August 2010

Works on the bidding process for the first nuclear reactor in Jordan, JRTR.

Education

Master's degree, Advanced Nuclear Systems Engineering
  • at University of Science and Technology
  • February 2014

• During the master degree, I've been granted a scholarship to conduct my research at Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) in research reactors division, fluid system design department where I've learned the basic concepts to design the cooling system for research reactors. • The dissertation was Numerical simulation of heat exchanger to study the convective heat transfer using Numerical Computational Fluid Dynamics codes; FLUENT and CFX. • KAERI excellence certificate was honored to me.

Bachelor's degree, NUCLEAR ENGINEERING
  • at JORDAN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
  • June 2011

Participation in EERRI fellow ship with IAEA IN January this year. I've graduated with Excellent grade (84.7 %). My rank is 4th among my patch.
