•Review and comment on supplier submittals and assist during inspection and testing stages.
•Provide cost control department by expected material quantities & cost which help to meet budget & achieve maximum net profit.
•Prepare cost comparison sheets for multi vendors then raise reports / analytics which help top management in decision making.
•Inspect delivered materials samples & ensure it meets quality requirement & pre-approved specs & material submittals.

Key responsibilities
Check the pre-job briefing & discuss with coordinator before arrival at rig-site to specify the service level that meet client expectations.
Check delivered unit, container, surface sensors & tools to specify any missing & inform workshop as Soon as possible.
Rig-Up/down unit, container & surface system (sensors, Junction boxes & cables) before/after job,
then decide the best cable route to avoid any obstruction for the rig crew.
Tools preparation & applying required deck test before/after PU/LD the tools.
Start-up the system & preparing a new run using required software (Cadence or advantage).
Applying required surface test before/after RIH/POOH to specify tool status.
Ensures BHA's are assembled as planned, including correct make-up torque as per tool specifications.
Interfaces with the directional driller (DD) to ensure BHA compatibility, planned operating
parameters are within specification and ensure that correct tool face references are applied.
Participates in performance improvement to achieve the highest service quality/time enhancement.
Usual monitoring for drilling/tools parameters for mitigation purposes.
Provides technical consultation to all clients. Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) planning, formation
evaluation, drilling surveys & BHA dynamics (Vibration, RPM, Torque, temperature & pressure).
Accurately completes all required forms/Paper work (i.e., databases, reports, tickets, lost/damaged
Equipment), moreover directional survey sheets to be delivered repetitively to client.
Shall comply with all safety requirements & every crew personally have the full authority to stop
work anytime safety is not complied.
Responsible for real-time monitoring for all drilling parameters (Temperature, vibration, torque, pressure, etc.) to apply the required mitigation to avoid tool failure or stuck.
Follow-up with office (technical support, coordinator & focal point) periodically & inform if there is any abnormal operational condition to keep them up to date.
Made Handover every shift to keep all team up to date.
Responsible for off-load & back-load all tools from/to workshop before/after job.
