- Construction Manager for Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram, and Riyadh Metro
Scope of work: As a Construction Manager I’m in- charge for delivering 42 km, 22 stations and 2 Depots on time and as per the required quality.
Responsibilities:
-Manage the site activities include general direction coordination of all independent contractors on the site.
- Manage the contractors programs for construction including procedures, layouts, equipment, manpower requirements, contractor interface and coordination.
-Review contractors Method Statements, Work Procedures, monthly payments.
-Oversee the performance of the supervision staff, ensuring that quality control procedures and requirements are being implemented, ensure that all members are familiar with the project requirements.
-Overview and manage site logistics planning and implementation
- Monitor contractors field progress through actual logging of daily work by the field Engineers.
-Oversee contractors input of equipment and manpower resources against projected histograms.
-Track contractor’s material delivery commitments to achieve the progress on field.
- Review field related coordination issues and direct resolutions for implementation.
- Participate in regular contractor/client meetings and other special meetings as required.
- Oversee and manage construction contracts close-out and handover activities ensuring full compliance to conditions of contracts.
Work in close collaboration with the Quality site manager to insure and control the quality of the works.
Leading the site engineers to supervise all the works executed by sub-contactors.
Prepair and monitor the bi weekly and three monthly works program.
Control the works performed by sub-contractors to comply with the design, specifications, works program and quality.
Ensure that all the works are carried out safely according to health and safety plan
1-Leading quality control site engineers to adjust adjust the quality of diff. constructions itemslike:
* Tunnel construction constructed by tunnel boring machine.
* Construction of deep Diaphragm Wall.
*Soil treatment activities.
*Execution of concreet works.
*Finishing activities.
2-Follow up the site documents like Inspection Check lists, Quality inspection reports, ......
3-Open and follow up the Non comformance reports.
4-Prepair work procedures for the different activities.
5-Follow up the owner site notes to take the corrective acttion to close it.
Leading tunnel engineers to control and supervise the execution oftunnel and Metro stations.
Prpair the daily, weekly and monthly reports for the work progress.
Follow up the contractor time scedual.
Prepair evaluation reportsfor the tunnel progress.
Site Quality Control Engineer for construction of sewer lines and house connections
Tunnel engineer in free air and compressed air tunnel drive constructed by sheild machine in different tunnels dimeters from 1.6 Mt. up to 5.00 Mt. and different kind of soil Sand, Clay and Rock.
