▪ Develop strategic leasing plans to identify new tenants - International /regional/ local focusing on the Retail
requirement.
▪ Ensure that the merchandising mix achieves the positioning as a destination for Retail, F&B and Leisure activity while
determining the various options of Retail Mix and Zoning for the malls.
▪ Negotiating with prospective tenants on commercial and lease terms and closing the deals within Al Hamra group
targeted timelines at maximized revenue.
▪ To prepare, review and adjust financial budgets, systems and processes and monitor performance against budget.
▪ Implementation and Negotiation of standard legal clauses for all retailers.
▪ Develop and implement procedures and systems across all Leasing functions to ensure smooth co-ordination / co-
operation among various internal departments to facilitate business needs and deliver positive tenant experiences.
▪ Explore new area of revenue generation to ensure maximized returns.
▪ Keep up to date market information within the Retail industry from retailers and other malls.
▪ Building and Maintaining strong business relationship with Key retailers of AL SHAYA, LANDMARK GROUP, AL TAYER,
CHALHOUB, AZADEA, APPAREL group.
▪ Leading the re-development plan for Al Hamra Mall taking into account the current market.
Key Achievements
• Leading the Leasing for all retail aspects of Hamra group during & Post Covid-19 and attained similar Occupancy.
• Introduction of new concepts/business to the malls which were not a part of the GLA historically.
• Bought the Occupancy level of the malls from 82% to 90% in a span of a year joining.
• Signed more than 35, 000 sqft of retail space, brought revenue of AED 20 million in Rental income in the portfolio.
