Handling the whole Swap/Wireless network Modernization project of Etisalat - Dubai region.
* Co-ordinating with vendors (Ericsson & Huawei) and updating about the sites which are ready
for migration/integration, on a daily basis and getting requirements from them for the sites.
* Following up with telecom, civil and power team including subcontractors for timely completion
of basic infrastructure and power (antenna, poles, cable trays, CBs etc.) in sites, before actual
migration/integration.
* Liaising with access team for getting access in sites which require special permission/work
permit to carry out modernisation activities.
* Ensuring the work is done according to the prescribed standards and following up with the
concerned team to clear the snags, if any, reported by Acceptance team.
* Sending daily and weekly progress report to Etisalat higher management, vendors,
subcontractors and all those who are involved in the project.
* Keeping a record of TSSR of sites (Macro, micro, IBS etc) given by vendors (Ericsson & Huawei)
and the pictures of sites post completion of modernisation activity.
* Holding regular meeting with vendors (Ericsson and Huawei) to sort out issues in project and
going site by site to ensure the project is on the track.
* Attending weekly meeting with Etisalat higher management and vendors (Ericsson & Huawei) to
review the progress of the project and clear the hindrances, if any.
* Currently involved in Acceptance of mobile sites, which involves preparation of site installation
documents, RFA (Ready for Acceptance) documents, Snag Clearance etc.
* Site document preparation, BOQ preparation and submission after completion of work in sites
for invoicing.
* Coordinating with all concerned stakeholders for the completion and handover of the project
Providing Leased Line and ISDN PRI services to Du customers/Enterprises, local as well as
International.
* Verifying Work orders, assigning tasks among team members for activation and later on to
Field.
* Analyzing customer requirements for generating required network according to the customer
needs.
* Creation/Provisioning of 64 KB to 155MB Leased line & ISDN PRI circuits through Network
Management Software (NMS) \[Alcatel Lucent OMS for SDH links & Tellabs 8000 Network
Manager for PDH links\].
* Ensuring that all solutions delivered to the customer are made in a professional manner
according to signed SLA (Service Level Agreement) by coordination with internal departments
such as Sales, Professional Services, Order Management Desk and Field Operations.
* Providing assistance and details to field staff for provisioning/cessation of a service.
* Follow-up with ICR (International Carrier Relations) and WLL (Wholesale Leased Line) teams for
any queries.
* Sending weekly and monthly reports related to status of on-going/closed projects.
* Migration of E1, E3, DS3 & STM1 activities in proper coordination with other providers.
* Performing transmission test and level 1 test with international voice interconnect carriers and
IGW team. Also performing E2E test with carrier and Enterprise customers.
* Trouble ticket handling, problem solving & testing for all du international and terrestrial links.
* Creation and maintenance of accurate and complete databases containing circuit designations,
Network elements and ports. Updating the same in OSS software - Netcracker.
* Auditing Leased Line circuits from 64 Kbps to STM1 level to check for alarms before closing
Work Orders and commencement of billing.
Commissioning of the Nokia flexi edge BTS using Nokia flexi edge Manager
* Commissioning of the Nokia Ultra and metro BTS using Nokia BTS Manager
* Commissioning of FIU using Nokia Hopper Manager
* Supervision of a team of 4-5 members for complete implementation of GSM equipments including
installation of GSM antennas and routing of RF cables etc
* Done Commissioning of Huawei IDU RTN 620, carried AT on Huawei BTS and have knowledge
of BTS DBS3900, 3900A
* Troubleshooting experience in NOKIA BTS. Have worked on Ericsson RBS and RRUs.
* Take VSWR sweeps of feeder and tail cables using (Anristu, Bird) meter
* Commissioning of Huawei Microwave link (IDU RTN 620) using Huawei RTN620 link
commissioning software-Web LCT
* Have worked on DELTA, ELTEK and EMERSON power plant and experience in basic trouble
shooting of power plant related faults.
* Alarm kroning, monitoring and clearing(DG, SMPS and Battery)
* Maintain all records of faults, tests and commissioning results.
* Operation of Test Equipments and conduct Acceptance/Quality Test (AT) of GSM network.
* Conducting regular meeting with customer for attending all types of technical issues
Coordinating with Nokia Siemens network team for new installation of sites for vodafone
* Commissioning of the Nokia flexi edge BTS using Nokia flexi edge Manager
