As a member of the Infrastructure Delivery team main responsibilities was to provide a wide range of database services such as query tuning and optimization (for front-end applications), troubleshooting database issues and performing thorough health checks for existing & new infrastructure builds. Lead & Deliver the migration of SAP Sybase IQ Multiplex databases from 12.7 to version 15 providing business case and full implementation plans in alignment with external hardware refresh projects.

Providing Consultancy services for Sybase IQ, ASE & Replication Server.
Some of the work undertaken within Sybase Professional Services include: - Taught various Sybase courses including Fast Track to ASE, ASE System Admin, IQ Administration & Replication Server.
- ASE 15 upgrade for Co-Op. ASE/RS DBA for Bank of New York
- ASE/RS DBA in RBS
- Comfortable with installing & configuring Sybase Products on UNIX platforms especially Redhat Linux.
- Installed & Configured a Replication Server Royal Marsden Hospital.
- Installed & Configured Replication Server for John Wiley
- Sybase ASE DBA for Commerzbank in Frankfurt, providing Sybase DBA support as well as migrating a number of ASE dataservers.
- Sybase IQ consultancy for Ericsson and Sky IQ.
