Network Engineer for various projects for the company within Qatar.
» Understand Prospect Requirements through studying RFP documents and analyzing various engineering drawings
» Design and implementation of the network infrastructure for various clients comprising of Cisco Nexus (7000 & 2000) switches, Cisco 6500, 3600 & 2960 series switches.
» Design and implementation of network security using Cisco ASA (5500 series)firewalls, PaloAlto firewalls and Cisco ISE for network access control
» Design and implementation of Wireless infrastructure with Cisco WLAN Controllers and wireless access points
» Define the security rule base for internet access
» Responsible for implementation of the network solutions comprising of LAN, WLAN and Security
» Change Management team lead, responsible for coordination and implementation of the approved changes for the production network of clients
» Internal & external vulnerability analysis. Responsible for security events related to network and internet access
» Security policy & procedural documents development and training the clients on security adherence
» Maintain network security, through managing and maintaining Enterprise Firewall, WAF firewalls and Network Access Control (NAC/ISE), to ensure securing networks and providing a highly secure communication infrastructure.
» Configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Bluecoat proxy and Microsoft TMG & ISA 2006
» Maintain Wireless LAN (WLAN) service to ensure its availability, integrity, operability, security and normal functionality. This includes, but not limited to maintaining WLAN Controller, and all Access Points.
» Responsible for Security in Servers, Routers, Switches, Networking devices and appliances, as well as choosing, deploying, supporting and troubleshooting Firewalls, VPNS, and IDS/IPS solutions for the networking environments.
» Log analysis, security audit and log correlation for the servers and network devices.
» Reactive and proactive Problem Management
» Review of closed incidents and correlation of incidents
» Coordinate with clients and understand their requirements

Incident and problem management with respect to network infrastructure
Involved in Change Management process, first level review of changes which required security approval. Implement critical changes in the network infrastructure
Security audit of firewalls, switches, routers and other network devices
Procedure and process documentation for Level 1 and Level 2 teams. Defined the OLA and workflow of incident tickets between the different levels of the Network & Security team
Log analysis of network devices
Coordination with vendor TACs
Coordination with Middle East ISP’s for optimal routes
