I opted for this role under the supervision of operations director Eastern Hemisphere, Multichem is a Halliburton product service line engaged in supplying oilfield specialty chemicals to National and International oil companies. Currently active in more than 10 countries in Eastern Hemisphere with a well placed strategy to grow the business exponentially in MENA region my job role demands to stream line end to end supply chain management of chemicals, this include negotiating with new and current vendors, materializing opportunities of savings from current operation model or proposed completely new model to bring cost efficiency. Own the order to cash process and establish, control and monitor the KPI's with both vendors and customers, be part of the monthly regional calls, addressing any compliance issues and closing gaps. Engage with Company approved freight forwarders and focus on getting the best in class service for my product service line. I also act as focal point for working on logistics cost required for tendering process, prepare supply chain mobilization plans and respond to any supply chain related queries in tenders.

Based on my interest I am also responsible to manage the monthly logistics metrics call for Eastern Hemisphere for Global logistics group which covers complete Halliburton activities including
Multichem, this fantastic platform gave me a unique experience where I was able to comprehend a bench mark process and KPI monitoring setup for 3PL companies on a different level all together.

I Played instrumetal role in number of company projects to name few,

1. Implement Freight capitalization for Multichem shipments.
2. Did all the cost estimate which laid the foundation for Automatic billing of freight for the region.
3. Did number of TCO's establishing the cost effective logistics model.
4. Captured 15 to 20% savings by change of business model on a project in Oman, Attained 7% additional savings on a project in Algeria.

Supply Chain Manager EMEA at Univar Middle East

Reporting to Regional Vice President EMEA I was hired to set up vendors and implement end to end supply chain model for a new business division of oil and Gas in the region for Univar, since the business unit was at its inception my role also demanded relentless amount of work addressing new customer inquires and proposing solutions. Coming from Specialty chemicals Blending background this was quite a challenging role where I had to approach both commodity chemical manufacturers and suppliers to negotiate for business which wasnt there yet. I had reasonable success in setting up footprint of the new business in country.
