Project: Etihad Rail (ER) Project Stage 1 (264 km rail network links Shah and Habshan to Ruwais)
• Working as Electrical/Communication Engineer in the Etihad Rail (ER) Project as team member of Program Management Consultant (PMC).
• Interfacing with client (ER) in weekly progress meetings.
• Interfacing with Contractor Systems team on weekly and daily basis, as required.
• Reviewed the detail design for communication networks against the project requirement specifications, some of the main reviewed systems are:
• MSN (Multi Service Network) which enables the communication for all the vital and non-vital services from the site to the operation center, using fiber ring.

Master’s Thesis: 3GPP LTE versus IEEE 802.11p/WAVE: Competition or Coexistence? The purpose of this M.Sc. thesis is to gain an understanding of vehicular communications using these two technologies (LTE and WAVE), by analyzing LTE performance issues in relation with VANET, from both comparison with WAVE as well as coexistence point of view.

This project covers the complete procedure involved in the installation of BTS Sites form ground zero to commercial launch on air, which includes SSO, CER, TSS, TSSR, PAT etc.
