Consulting work relatd to fiancial advisory services in different sector specially in Insurance.
Consulting wotk with develoment partners related to financial management and government procurement system.
- Ensure efficient and effective operation of entire finance & accounting functions of the Company’s operation in Bangladesh through proper iplementation & regular review and updating of the Financial Policy & accounting System in the
computerized environment of the Company
- Ensure that proper books & accounts as prescribed under local laws & regulations, under Company’s Accounting System & in accordance with internal
& external audit standards & generally accepted accounting principles, are timely maintained.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of the periodic statutory reports & returns including the annual tax returns & annual financial statements &
coordinate the audit function thereof. Ensure full compliance with Tax, Companies & other laws applicable to the operation.
- Ensure timely & accurate preparation of periodic reports on the various financial aspects of the operation as required by Company’s Management & continuously work on improving the content & presentation of such reports.
-Coordinate and prepare the Annual Budget of the operation under the Regional Chief Financial Officer/General Manager’s direction.
- Set up, implement & review internal control system in light of Company’s corporate accounting policies & ensure their capability to timely detect any irregularity in managing & preserving company’s assets, income & expenditure transactions.
Responsibilities Assigned: Preparation of monthly Accounts
Preparation of budget and computation of budget variances
Supervise and carry out accounting, taxation, secretarial matters
Develop financial control system of the company
Other related functions as needed.
** In addition to the above responsibilities I was also attached with the TCL Software Development Cell as a member of System Analyst Team.
