• Work with the engineering team to conduct site investigation and assess the technical feasibility of developing a specific solar PV project.
• Draft the scope of work and estimate the respective project budget.
• Create and distribute RFPs to potential EPC subcontractors,
• Establish evaluation metrics, and select winning proposals.
• Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and other agreements with EPC subcontractors and vendors, and oversee all subcontractors work in all phases.
• Develop and maintain project timeline, identify critical path and key milestones for project’s success.
• Communicate with utilities and authority having jurisdictions regarding interconnection, permitting, and other regulatory compliance issues.
• Identify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid any potential project risks, and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact.

• Create project organization charts and contact lists
• Coordinate with clients on project documentation, health and safety requirements and subcontractor compliance
• Review submitted consultant and contractor proposals and submissions
• Provide constant communication and project progress reports to clients and management team
• Oversee various project consultants, contractors and internal staff during design, specification, bid, installation and management phases
• Create project RFPs based on project requirements and float them for tender and bidding in the market
• Manage approvals, completion of work and payment of project consultants and contractors
• Make site visits to verify and confirm project equipment performance and operation
• Work directly with client, client staff, facilities management team and client appointed personnel to communicate, train and maintain new and existing energy equipment in the project.
• Research and identify industry and market best practices and techniques to implement into projects
• Identify latest technology, tools, processes and practices to help teams and clients deliver more efficiently
• Attending regular meetings ( on work progress, coordination, design, etc. ) with Main Contractor and Consultant to discuss key issues related to the project and take effective corrective actions.
• Monitor project budgets and schedule and oversee performance to ensure on time, quality and on budget project execution
• Coordinate with the energy and engineering design team on all aspects of the design.
• Prepare periodic reports for management including status of budgets, variance/change claims, schedules, disputes, up-coming activities & safety records.
• Ensure that the health and safety requirements are provided and that they comply with authorities regulations.
• Provides guidance, managerial, technical support to complete project team.
• Prepare program master schedule and performs critical path analysis.
• Prepare plans and schedules, status reports and performance evaluation.
• Provide program planning capabilities including interfaces and risks analysis.
• Establish and monitor program and project controls KPI's.
• Ensure program policies and procedures are implemented accordingly.

• Maintains an organized and logical yard operation.
• Plan daily/weekly manpower needs based upon business demands and closely monitors overtime hours.
• Assigns tasks insuring efficient allocation of labor maximizing productivity.
• Oversees facility equipment: ensures equipment is safe, operational and regularly serviced.
• Motivates, trains and develops a productive cohesive team.
• Continually trains employees in the ergonomic and safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment. Empowers employees to take ownership in the use, maintenance and safety of all tools and equipment.
• Ensures that employees are provided with and consistently use approved safety equipment.
• Maintains the upkeep and maintenance of capital investments (i.e. building property, equipment, etc.)
• Conducts weekly safety meetings and consistently executes all safety policies. Directs supervisors and foremen ensuring safe working practices are strictly adhered to while maintaining a safe working environment.
• Conducts monthly safety/yard inspections, documents findings/observations and distributes to the appropriate management personnel.
• Oversees inventory quality and insures accurate quality control. Conducts monthly quality control inspections, documents findings/observations and sends reports to appropriate parties.
• Ensures that the proper tools are available at each workspace. Orders tools/replacement parts in a timely manner and in accordance with the checklist.
• Ensures that underlay timbers are available in appropriate sizes.
• Ensures yard staff is continually trained in product knowledge and organizing the yard operation to function in an organized, productive way.
• Manages the logistics of all material (location, flow of goods) to ensure proper storage avoiding congestion.
• Ensures proper disposal of all damaged/scrap material in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure all containers and shelves are accurately marked to ensure proper product information.
• Manages yard and warehouse ensuring compliance with company cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• If applicable, ensure a properly trained welder is available at the branch; provide appropriate
• training and/or opportunity to obtain proper certification.
• Accurately processes the timely flow of paper orders.

• Determining, implementing and monitoring production strategies, policies and plans.

• Preparation of Preventive Maintenance schedule and checklists.
• Preparation of the progressive reports for the erection of steel structure of 35Ton three numbers of Rubber Tire Gantry Cranes (RTGC).
• Preparation of welding related documents; “Welding procedure specification (WPS)”, Welding Pre-Qualification record (PWR)”.
• Arrange the Radiographic physical weld testing (X-RAY) to the internal defects in weld for the erection of the steel structures; such as cracks, slag, blowholes, and zones where proper fusion is lacking to make sure the welding quality.
• Monitored the Sand blasting and panting of the RTG Cranes. Used high quality marine paints and checked the DFT levels in different places for uniformity and Quality of the painting.
• Checked the alignment of the rails for moving hoist trollies for all three RTGC’s for differences and run the operation of the same to confirm the smooth travel and proceeded the approvals.
• Maintenance of three sets of 400KVA Caterpillar Generators in the RTGC cranes.
• Maintenance of Hydraulic systems in the Crane like; Rexroth, Parker hydraulic vales and pumps.
• Prepared the monthly planes for the project execution for the on going project.
• Discussion with contractor, consultants for technical related project errors and to solve the same.
• Preparation of weekly progress report to Director of Engineer.
• Organizing necessary arrangement for commissioning of newly Purchased machineries and civil related constructions.
