Duties included but were not limited to:
- supporting municipality-led community consultations to ensure that all segments of the community are equally represented and that the voices of women and youth are adequately reflected in the identification, implementation and monitoring of financed Project activities;
- identifying community organizations that could partner with municipalities in the delivery of social projects that are needed and that could help in expanding the scope of municipal services
- assisting in the development of mechanisms for partnerships with Community Based Organizations (CBOs) that are based on transparent and competitive selection criteria
- assisting in the development and/or application of tools that allow for citizen’s feedback on services delivered
- assist in the establishment and monitoring of social indicators including indicators on inclusion, community participation, and gender-specific indicators
- Monitor the effectiveness of the project level Grievance Redress Mechanisms (GRM) in municipalities.

- Using standard criteria, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and agreed formats, interview cases assessing their situation and needs for assistance.
- Conduct focus groups /group discussions to disseminate relevant information for beneficiaries.
- Conduct information sessions to direct refugees to appropriate basic services (food, WASH, health, etc.) and ensure they are aware of their entitlements.
- Develop in collaboration with the team several forms related to Community Mobilization, Information dissemination, Outreach and needs assessment.
- Reporting.
- Participate in authoring manuals on “Psychological first aid” & “Conducting focus groups & Peer Support groups”.
