-Review, coordinate and approve major multi-modal transportation master plans and traffic impact studies within AbuDhabi Emirate. This includes mega master plan projects of population upto 400, 000.

-Review and approve the planning and engineering for all major transportation infrastructure projects. Ensuring projects are in line with strategic planning and policies.

-Conduct feasibility studies and business case studies for transportation infrastructure projects

-Develop, review and coordinate the parking planning, engineering and regulations for Emirate of Abu Dhabi

-Develop and integrate engineering standards and manuals for transportation studies and designs

-Study, develop and oversee short-term congestion alleviation and road safety projects

-Coordinate and oversee multifaceted development projects with other governmental agencies and stakeholders

-Act as a focal planning and engineering coordination point for DOT projects and departments

-Develop and maintain the initial Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for Abudhabi’s transportation projects

-Safeguarding the interest (safety and mobility) of all road user groups (pedestrians, cyclists, motorists, maritime) at all planning forums

-Develop, evaluate and recommend strategic transportation policies, laws and regulations in support of projects and strategic planning objectives

-Develop and oversee a comprehensive and up-to-date transportation related information database to support optimal planning and policy making processes (mitigation measures GIS Database, approved studies and designs, traffic surveys, traffic counts ect.)

Develop and study transportation impact studies and transportation master plans for development projects. This includes traffic analysis, parking studies, Highway design and multimodal studies.

Palm Deira Transportation Master Plan - TAK (Dubai)

Transportation Engineer & Modeller. Development of private and public transport and demand management policy solutions as part of the transportation master planning scope. Was the lead modeller to Update the R-1000 travel demand model private & public transport network, zones and Land use of the study area. Propose and analyze different transport solution scenarios for external and internal roads

Dubai Waterfront & Palm Jebel Ali Transportation

Master Plan & Traffic Impact Study - TAK (Dubai)
Transportation Engineer & Modeller. Acted as the project lead modeler and was responsible to code and model the private and public transportation network in the R-1000 tarvel demand model using Visum. Assisted the master planning team on the transportation network planning of the project. Proposed and analyzed different road solution scenarios for external and internal roads.

Dubai Metro Traffic Diversions (Dubai)

Transportation Engineer. Conduct traffic analysis for the proposed construction diversions for the Metro Stations using VISSIM 4.0 (Dubai Municipality)

Maydan Transportation Master Plan & Traffic Impact Study - TAK (Dubai)

Transportation Engineer & Modeller. Lead project modeller. Assist the master planning team on the transportation master plan in regards to private as well as public transport network. Propose and analyze different public transport and road solution scenarios for external and internal transportation networks to accommodate the project. Preparation of the event traffic management plans for the project. Conducted parking and access studies to manage the 6000 parking’s as part of the project transportation master plan. Detailed analysis of interchanges was done using the Vissim microsimulation software and Synchro was utilized for intersections analysis.

Jumeira Palm IFA Traffic Impact Study (Dubai)

Project Manager & Transportation Engineer. Estimate Trip generation & parking for the Fairmont Hotel, Fairmont Residence & the Golden Miles. Analyze weaving sections & accessibility by conducting microsimulation using VISSIM 4.0. Propose and draft access configurations. Test the internal vehicular circulation at the parking using the software AUTOTURN & proposing solutions at problematic areas. (DSA Architects)

Zabeel Development Transportation Master Plan - RTA (Dubai)

Transportation modeller & Traffic Engineer. Update the RTA R1000 transportation model to test the Zabeel development traffic on the existing road network. Propose strategic road networks to alleviate the traffic caused by the new development. Microsimulate the proposed road network using the PTV vissim 4.0 software. Manage and Liaison with the client (RTA) in regards to the new proposed road network.
Um Ramool Transportation Master Plan - TAK (Dubai)
Project Manager, Transportation Engineer & Modeller. Follow up with the client on progress of work and solution options. Assessing the master planning team on road network planning of the project. Proposing and analysing different road solution scenarios for external and internal roads. Updating the R-1000 model road network, zones and Land use of the designated area.
