: I was responsible for all the research and sales, including bidding for tenders, following these up, settling accounts and preparing invoices, as well as maintaining business relationships with clients and other businesses involved. I was also responsible for preparing all required legal and financial documents including bid and performance bonds, letters of guaranty and letters of credit. My work required me to be highly efficient and organised and able to work under pressure both with a team and individually. In addition to the above, my responsibilities extended to include the following:
- Full responsibility for all the shipping (both internal and external);
- Examining, evaluating and understanding all tender books to prepare offers accordingly and issue all the needed documents and letters;
- Preparing and issuing purchase orders for venders and following up on them;
- Communicate and coordinate with banks to prepare and issue letters of credit for the customers;
- Tracking and following up on account receivables of various types of payment (net 30 days, LC, advance payment.. etc);
- Responsible of renewing the license & the commercial registration certificates of the company; and
- Filing (hard & electronic) in the procurement / administrative section
