Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for verifying that all accounting entries and transaction records were in compliance with government regulations and standards.
• Coordinated with and maintained good relations with the company’s bankers, prepared and submitted documents for bill discounting.
• Reviewed invoices generated, computed outstanding payments, prepared receivable forecasting report and submitted to the accounting and finance manager.

• Maintained the accounts receivable ledger, verified that payments were accurately reflected in the ledger, and made postings to the ledger.

• Responsible for overseeing the recruitment process for hiring candidates - inviting and scrutinizing job applications, conducting telephonic interview, calling candidates for final interviews.
• Oversaw induction of new candidates, explained the company’s HR policies, procedures, job descriptions to the candidates, and answered their queries.
• Ensured adequate safety and security measures were installed for all the staff, and provided a professional work environment.
• Assisted in designing and implementing HR objectives, and communicated these to the employees.
