Providing necessary care for maternal and newborn such as:
* routine care
*detction of abnormal progress of pregnancy or emergency condition of the mother and procurement of appropriate medical avice.
*and executioon or emergency measures as required.
*provide safe and effective care during labour up to immediate postpartum period
*provide appropriate newborn care and obervation including resuscitation or assistance inresuscitation
*administering of iv fluids and medications
*adminitering of blood products
*assess fetal heart beat pattern by using electronic means or CTG and provide appropriate care and management.
* provide newborn care during normal delivery, caesarian section and elective CS.
