As the Product Line Manager, I will oversee the entire product life-cycle of the “Ajinomoto (MSG), Aloha Cooking Oil, Aloha Rice (Indian & Thai Rice), and Santan (Coconut Powder)" brands in the KSA market. My role requires strategic thinking and practical execution to support nationwide sales and marketing activities. I will play a key role in developing and executing effective sales strategies, ensuring product availability, distribution, visibility, and brand recognition. Moreover, I'll lead new product development, covering aspects such as design, packaging, pricing, and promotions in accordance with the 7 P’s of Marketing. My duties also include budget planning for new product launches across all sales channels, with a focus on distribution and displays. This position provides a dynamic opportunity to make a positive impact on the growth and success of these well-established brands in the Saudi Arabian market.
Develop and implement sales and distribution plans to achieve profit goals for key accounts, optimizing budget and manpower. Manage BDA, Rental Displays, In-store, and In-Flyers promotions. Focus on improving product presence and growth in markets through close monitoring of DSR, MTD, YTD, and Sales to Trade (STT) reports by channel and category.
The role requires the person to build and maintain strong professional relationships with key account customers, convenient stores, wholesales, and retail outlets. This means proactively understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring a smooth and mutually beneficial collaboration that supports the business's success.
My job role encompassed a range of responsibilities aimed at fostering growth and increasing the company's market share. Here are some common tasks associated with this role like, Market research and analysis, relationship building, strategic planning, product launches, brand promotions, sales growth, data analysis, vertical and horizontal development.
• Development of distribution network in assigned territory.
• The lead Sales team for target achievement and territory development.
• Carefully observed competitors marketing strategies and responded in time to stay in business.
• Manage Credit limits and accounts books on a monthly basis to rectify errors.
