Project consists of building a new Nissan Showroom/Workshop in the heart of the industrial area of Dakar, Senegal.
My tasks on this project include:
-Monitor construction of new Nissan Showroom & Workshop.
-Review all the drawings and specifications.
-Represent client on site meeting with the contractor.
-Monitor work progress in relation with project schedule: Study and analyze consequences of delays and propose solutions.
-Verify material quality as per drawings and specifications, visual inspection, measurement, laboratory tests.
-Issue daily and monthly reports.
Project consisted of a huge Assembly plant for Nissan and Peugeot. Renovation of 3 existing warehouses and building new warehouse extension that includes mezzanine floor and a showroom.
My tasks as Construction Manager included:
-Managed the construction of warehouse extension that includes Nissan workshop ( 1200 m2 ) and construction of Nissan Showroom ( 290 m2 ).
-Responsible for the renovation of 3 existing warehouses (4000 m2 ),
-Managed and supervised most civil works (e.g., Generator/compressor room with underground piping, 300 3 underground water tank, water test and light tunnel super structure).
-Responsible for all all finishing works of the Nissan Assembly Plant (e.g., tiling, doors, plumbing sanitary, aluminum profiles, glass, ceiling, paint, HVAC and ACP Nissan signages).
-Managed procurement processes for all finishing materials according to Nissan specifications.
Project consists of a 3 story residential building using using wall & floor polystyrene panels and shotcrete only (concrete wall system).
As a Site Engineer, my tasks included:
-Assisted with the project timeline and weekly construction schedules for work and materials with the Project Manager.
-Co-managed procurement and supervised materials ordering, reception and inspection.
-Submitted daily and monthly progress rep
As the Finishing Engineer, my tasks included:
-Renovated three 350 m2 luxury apartments.
-Evaluated all HVAC, plumbing, electrical and finishing problems and acted accordingly.
-Responsible for all finishing works (e.g., wallpaper, paint, replacing tiles, renovating false-ceiling, HVAC maintenance and renewal, replacing plumbing sanitary, carpentry work on all door frame, doors and cabinets.
-Furnished all the apartments

Going on inspection trips to site to make sure everything matches the design
