Ours is a US based construction company mainly into US Army Projects. Therefor the company posses US standers in there construction operations, so all the materials are procured from US and Shipped to Kuwait. Here my role is to coordinate all the Import of materials from US and make it possible to site on time. The shipments are trough all mediums Land Sea and Air and me alone coordinate all this to site.

Our company was into construction business we were into all three streams civil electrical and mechanical services. There my jobs role was to handle all the materials purchase and it's logistics up on each sites as required .

Coordinate with the sales team for the consignments.
Prepare sales quotations.
Initiate invoice and packing list.
Booking the consignments for different clients.
Booking for clearance of PQ analysis test (Product quarantine).
Sending inquiries to overseas agents/Shipping Lines/Local Co-loaders for import shipments.
Intimations to the customer with the details about movement of goods.
Releasing of MBL (Master Bill of Lading) from the liners.
Releasing the HBL (House Bill of Lading) to the clients.
Sending the Pre-alert to the overseas agent for releasing the goods.
Billing the charges against the customers towards the consignment.
Entering the consignment details in the database.
Updating Shipment Status report on Daily Basis (DSR).
Follow up with the client for the payment.
Reporting to the head of the department (Sales Head) regarding the updates.

Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems.
Analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements and demands.
Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs.
Liaising and negotiating with customers and suppliers.
Developing business by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistics problems and producing new solution.
