Responsible for planning and reporting of multiple projects as per client or consultant requirements. Develop a baseline for all project with cost loading to analyze the flow of cash. Track resources and prepare Master Tracking for all. My responsibilities are;
• Preparation of Project Schedule (Tools used: Primavera P6, MS Project etc., ) covering entire scope and within defined timelines.
• Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan.
• Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule and advise project management.
• Deciding on the most appropriate engineering techniques and sequences of activities for each project stage.
• Daily progress updates for site management; comprising cost trends, progress curves.
• Prepares and submit updated work program and cash flow curve showing actual progress and identify areas of weakness and establishes means and methods for recovery, if any, as well as new critical activities.
• Maintain and record update of site work progress obtained from Project Manager.
• Prepares monthly or weekly report reflecting work progress summary.
• Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Client as required.
• Assists in preparing work program, cash flow and manpower histogram for tenders.
• Provide support to all operations and extension requests.
Involved in the project from start to finish and also involved in developing the master baseline of the project. Accomplished the required target of the project and able to complete it as per contract. During the project my responsibilities were;
• Develop master baseline construction schedule with cost and resource loaded using Primavera P6 software.
• Analyzing the project schedule and implementing the logics as per the actual site conditions.
• Submittal of Weekly & Monthly progress reports based on the work progress.
• Daily progress updates for site management; comprising cost trends, progress curves.
• Review all the Civil & Mechanical activities.
• Prepares the schedule for the project.
• Tracking of Progress Accomplishment
• Prepare cost S Curves & manpower histogram.
• Prepares and update the cost report for the project
• Update actual progress for Civil, Procurement and Engineering weekly.
• Coordination with Site Engineer weekly.
• Review baseline and progress schedules weekly.
• Project Communication Management.
I Worked in the execution part (Frame Structure) where I performed with the construction contractor, in this case I had more responsibilities, where I had to adhere to the design document, quality of work, the schedule, safety of the people, costs.
• Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant.
• Agreeing a price for materials, and making cost effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Test soils and materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel.
I worked as an internee at a project of NESPAK under the supervision of a Resident Engineer. I spent most of my time to understand different types of drawings i.e.; structural, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and shop drawings.
I passed with 3.05 CGPA.
