Worked as an HSE Section Head for Universal group, Electrical industrial Branch such as Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing spearheaded all the phases of Governor HSE services and improved the HSE level at the distribution centre
Key Roles & Job Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the risk assessment for activities with high potential hazards is completed before work commences.
• Developing all required documentation, Job safety analysis (JSA) and all the related documents as per government requirements.
• Enforce company site safety rules and regulations on the work site.

• Successfully conducted the live firefighting practice & emergency response drills
• Conduct weekly safety toolbox meetings with all workers prior to the start of work together with field supervisors.

• Served as a Team Leader and assessor/instructor of the emergency response team.

- Promote manager awareness and ensure that HSE is an integral part of line management responsibilities, objectives, and communications.
- Assist management and support functions in establishing, maintaining, implementing, and improving the HSE management system.
Contractors advise on a range of corrective actions required.
- Providing advice and guidance to the Contractor about H&S standards as per Client requirements and Country Legislation.
- Identify deficiencies of HSE performance and advice the contractor for corrective action.
- Participating in HSE audits, inspections and investigations and developing and implementing action plans for the closure of observed deviations.
- Review the HSE plan, HSE procedures and supporting documents.
- Monitor the site activities to ensure safe working practices are followed and as per client requirements.
- Review the ERP (Emergency Response Plan) & Rescue Plan.
- Review the Fire Prevention Plan & its Implementation.
- Loss prevention Plan implementation.
- Review Safety in Design and ensure that it is in place.
- Advising management on practical ways to decrease contractor incident rates through continuous improvement.
- Ensure that the relevant HSE documentation is readily available on-site.
- QHSE system documents supervision and audits. Conducted various audits on all SVs and contractors and was involved in internal and external audits for system document compliance.
- Keep the Client informed of technical and environmental/ health/ and safety (ESHS) issues and the progress of all related works both by direct contact and through discussions or correspondence.
- Developed overall KPIs for the HSE Program with a cascade for construction and operations and development of an HSE KPI tracker for evaluation and monitoring.
- Takes a proactive approach in the implementation of the HSE culture within the project.
- Provides professional advice to Senior Management on design requirements guided by the client’s HSE philosophies as well as Local and International Safety Design Codes / Standards.
- Implements and maintains Company policy and HSE project philosophy.
- Plans and reviews Hazard analysis criteria.
- Familiar with all HSE Legislation and Regulations and HSE Plans' requirements.
- Reviewing various monthly and weekly HSE reports for SCs, Contractors and service providers.
- Coordinates with the Client’s HSE department.

- Coordinates with all HSE personnel in the implementation of the HSE Plan and HSE Procedures.
- Responsible for the correspondence, proper HSE documentation and filing.
- Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports.
- Reviews and verifies Method statements, Job Safety Analysis, Safety Action Plans, Critical lift plans, Scaffolding plans, etc. before submission to the Client for approval.
- Lead HSE teams to meet Project requirements and conduct further training for them as required.
- Prepare a monthly plan in coordination with the Contractor HSE manager (about accident/incident data, violation summary, IN, NCR).
- Prepare/participated in weekly / monthly meetings with the Contractor and highlight any client’s requirements and concerns.
- Identify contractor training needs (refer to unsafe acts and repeated violations) and follow up through co-coordinators.

- • Ensure the implementation of the HSE Policy and make sure it is in line with client HSE procedures, keeping the Plan updated whilst ‘live’ and compiling the Building Manual (H&S File).

• Providing project management assistance to deliver the project without LTI.

My role was managing a team of HSE professionals involved in the safe management of operations on one of the most iconic infra-Projects in Egypt (the Port Said Tunnel under the Suez Canal) Accomplishments, Providing advice, expertise, and support to the construction team. and overseeing all safety issues relating to Contractors, and sub-contractors on the project and ensuring working in line with Project HSE Plan.
The project involved huge ground clearance and stabilization works ahead of major civil infrastructure works. Huge numbers of plants and machinery were involved in these activities ahead of construction which was underway Various main sub-contractors were engaged in different packages on the project with thousands of Laboure involved in construction.
• Keeping up to date with development in the field of HSE as they affect the working activities of the project and ensuring working to the approved H&S Project Plan to maintain a safe working environment for the workforce.
• Responsible for managing a team of safety and environmental professionals involved in the safe management of all operations on the project to ensure safe operations for all site manpower
• Liaise as necessary with site staff on matters concerning HSE
• Preparing policies and procedures to meet on-site requirements and ensuring that Method Statements, Risk Assessments are in place before operations commence on-site.
• Led the Investigations of accidents and dangerous occurrences and implemented means to promote safety awareness and accident prevention measures to secure a place of work

I have worked as a Recreational diving instructor in multi-international diving Schools in Sharm El Sheikh, as a marine member and professional diving instructor using my skills and language skills to train, guide and lead the diver’s team during safe dive sites and maintain the marine life under the Water, assisting the RAS Mohamed National Marine Park during the sea survey and cleaning.
