1) Prospect potential clients by selling them both loan, deposit and other accessory bank products.
2) Visit the business activity and domicile of loan applicant to gather to gather all necessary information about the client and business.
3) Build the loan file of the loan applicant based on the information collected, both documented information and observation.
4) Analyse the capacity of the loan applicant to repay the loan plus interest by focussing on the commercial, financial and client's risk elements
5) Send the analysed file to loan committee with the amount that I have proposed based on my risk analyses. Also defend the proposed amount at the loan committee.
6) Close loan applicant file if the risk is perceived to be unbearable.
7) When the loan committee approved an amount, I communicate the decision of the committee to the loan applicant and if he accept the amount granted, he signs the loan agreement form and disbursed the cash.
8) Follow up the client to make sure that he pays back the loan plus interest and on timely basis.
9) Motivate the client to reapply for another loan if he successfully build a good loan history based on the first loan granted. Otherwise, close the client.
