Responsible for reviewing credit portfolio of Corporate finance (syndications), mortgage backed & real estate financing and hospitality sector which comprises of over 40% of the banks portfolio.
Managing stressed corporate obligors and bad debts of the region.
Managing corporate credit originating from North Region.
Conduct credit analysis and submit the credit application along with recommendations.
Evaluate the credit application for all sorts of risks, highlighting them and proposing mitigants.
Analyse Projects and their financial models for financing.
Structuring credit facilities in line with the banks credit policy and obligors requirements.
Ensure that annual reviews are submitted as they fall due.
Prepare and submit MIS reports regarding credit portfolio and industry concentration.
Over and above due to limitation of resources, F.I. risk is still being managed by team.
Analyzing various F.I.'s and generating their respective Risk Rating and recommending credit limits. Apart from that Country Risk Limits are also being set by my team.
As a part of approval chain i'm heading a team of analysts and responsible for analysing various Projects and their financial models.
Analyse corporate credit proposals and submit recommendation to Head of Corporate & F.I. Risk (Risk Management Group)
Being the senior resource, officiated as Head of Corp. & Risk too.
The Corporate and F.I. portfolio amounts to over Rs. 400 Billion. Further more, have been nominated as Deputy Project Manager for Basel II
Had responsibilities of corporate account mobilization and credit initiation & management. Handled a credit portfolio of over PKR 6.0 Billion ranging from Working capital facilities to Project Financing. Furthermore, provided a growth of more than 100% in international trade business (Import/Export) over the period. In addition I have been managing Non Performing Loans (previously Restructured/Rescheduled
