Project Manager for PS Division, Dubai UAE. For DEWA 132/11kV substations .
• Extensive experience of Project Management in Power System Division at ABB Industries L.L.C.in handling complex Substation for Dubai and Abudhabi utilities Familiar with the EPC environment working with Turnkey Projects. Projects handled related to Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Factory Testing, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of HV and MV Substations for Government Utilities as well as EPC Contractors.
• Working in SAP ECC 6.0, using for Order handling, Order booking, Budget allocation, cost control through various reports, making project Reviews using JSR Report, Financial & Cost Management / Risk management and Risk Exposure .
• Manage Project from development to Closure
• Works with Project Team in determining the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project buy outs, monitoring progress to maintain those procurements. Interfaces with procurement and subcontract personnel to facilitate the bid process.
• Coordinates the utilization of interdisciplinary technical personnel on the project with other Project Engineers. Coordinates the assignment of personnel from other technical support groups within the company.
• Manage planning, , supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study. Assists in determining the technical skills and staff hours required for successful completion of the project.
• Keeping daily / weekly Installation & Testing Records, Monitoring for day to day progress and quality of workmanship to achieve the milestone.
Key Responsibilities :
• Develop project work plans and schedules, discuss project priorities with client, and plan assigned program.
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets.
• Forecast monthly/yearly revenue, monthly financial reporting and client invoicing.
• Preparation of reports and presentations for the project
• Monitor project on a day to day basis to ensure that project outputs are being delivered as per on schedule.
• Managing Internal and External Approvals.
• Initiate the request for proposals, tenders and other competitive selection procedures, and oversee the tendering process as required.
• Provide technical inputs as per the scope of works and manage change in scope wherever required.
• Provide operational inputs during tendering
• Maintain a healthy and safe workplace, and ensure compliance with all applicable codes .
• Conduct SOT monthly basis and report to management.
• Establish and maintain positive and effective working relations with all members of the project delivery team and operations team.
• Reconcile project performance against plan at project completion, and conduct customer satisfaction assessments.
