Responsibilities include:
• Operation of automated control systems
• Monitoring and inspection of plant equipment.
• Measurement of temperature and pressure flow
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdown relating to the utilities to ensure minimal impact to production.
• Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunction.
• Performing routine equipment maintenance and write plant or building operation reports.
• Repairing and preventative maintenance of building equipment including high speed roll-up doors, shrink wrappers, HVAC units, UPS, lighting, garbage compacting equipment, fire doors, emergency generator, fire pump, etc.
• Work together with all other departments to ensure a productive team environment and the continuous improvement of the plant processes.
• Understand all operating procedures of our facilities processing equipment and can maintain it.
• Ensure all work performed complies with governing practices, codes and regulations.
• Fulfill all Health and Safety, Food Safety, HACCP. WHIMS, MSDS requirement
Calibration and Testing of Instruments, such as Pressure Gauges, Control Valves, Current to Pneumatic Converters, Positioners, Pressure Safety Valves, Motor Operated Valves, On-Off Valves, Blanketing Valves, Breather Valves, Hatch Valves, Transmitters and Switches (Pressure, Temperature, Level and Flow)

Repairing of Instruments, such as Air Regulators, Self-Regulated Valves, Actuators, Pressure Gauges, Pressure Safety Valves.

Working on SCADA systems such as, RTU, RPC and Dr. SCADA
•
Troubleshooting of Control Loops. Such as cable tracking (From Local J.B to Marshalling), Loop checking, on-field calibration, Transmitter output Conversions and Calculations.
•
Assisting Operations with Heater, Pumps and Motors Start-up activity.
•
Aware with the working architecture and network topologies of PLC and DCS.
•
Communication between departments and Shift supervisors, taking care of Instrument and process breakdown.
•
Removal and installation of pressure transmitters, pressure gauges and switches
Completed subjects such as Communication, signals and systems, Instrumentation, Computer Aided designs, VLSI designs.
