Senior Project Manager of Plan to buy applications
Responsibilities:
• Leading implementation of Oracle Retail modules by taking part in full project cycle from scoping through to evaluation in order to ensure that business IT projects are executed efficiently & meet business objectives to the right quality and budget.
• Responsibility to undertake business analysis and project management of Business and IT initiated projects
• Leading design of Panda's as-is Business Reference Model processes for the Supply Chain planning, Buying (replenishment), Merchandising, Space and Floor planning and other Retail planning applications impacted by ERP program and alignment with the Oracle Retail Reference Model processes to produce the to-be Business Reference Model processes
• Lead the data migration and store rollout streams of implementation as an additional responsibility.
• Project managed design of Range Planning and Allocations (RMS, RTM, ReSA, Allocations) projects through the High Level Design phase within Panda's Oracle Retail implementation
• Implement standard project management processes, tools and methodology by ensuring good architecture, scope, resource roles and clear deliverables are identified from initial stage up to post-implementation support
• Developed and deployed Service Level Agreement (SLA) and define KPI (response time, availability, cost, application security)
• A total of four years experience with TATA Consultancy Services as a Developer and Module Leader with experience in Retail Domain.
• Three years nine months experience in Development, Customization, Support and Implementation of Retek Products such as Retek Merchandizing System, Retek Store systems and Retek Integration Bus.
• One Year of experience in End-to-End Implementation of Retek Merchandizing System 10.1.x at LifeKen Medicines Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore.
• Work experience with the prestigious customers of Retek like Best Buy (USA), Sainsbury’s (UK) LifeKen Medicines Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore.
• Excellent skills in understanding, implementing and customization of Retek Merchandizing System.
• Hands on experience in Installing, Configuration and Implementation of Retek Merchandising System and Retek Integration BUS at Lifeken.
• Expertise in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solution (i.e. SeeBeyond) used at Retek to integrate Retek Suite of products and also have the ability to independently develop interface components to integrate Retek Merchandizing System with any external System.
• Experienced in conducting QA reviews.
• Experienced in executing the projects in onsite/offshore methodology.
• Excellent communication skills and capable of working as an individual and also as a part of team.
• Experience in mentoring/training junior developers.
• Experience in Installing various Oracle products like Oracle Database, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Internet directory, Reports Server etc. in Live environment servers.
