Researcher Engineer in the Water and Environmental Studies Institute (WESI), An-Najah National University on a Palestinian-Dutch joint project entitled:" Developing Agricultural Best Management Practices to preserve the Groundwater Quality in Faria Catchment/WB - Palestine". This project is the first attempt of its kind in Palestine. Many activities were conducted such as: Conducting a comprehensive field survey, development of GIS-based groundwater vulnerability map, development of groundwater quality monitoring strategy, conducting groundwater quality analyses, development of GIS-based agricultural landuse suitability map, development of agricultural best management practices, and formulation of policy briefs.
Storm water designer engineer at Arabtech Jardaneh Palestine (AJP)/Ramallah/Palestine and under a supervision of an American company called Black and Veatch: Conducting hydrologic modeling and analyses of Tulkarem catchment in Northern of West Bank/Palestine. The objective of this modeling is computing the design flowrates to be used in the hydraulic design of culverts. Those design flowrates were computed through using the U.S. Army Crops of Engineers HEC-HMS Model, and with the help of the GIS.
Hydrologist at the Consultation Engineering Center (CEC)/Ramallah/Palestine and under a supervision of an American company called Black and Veatch: Conducting hydrologic modeling and analyses of Al-Badan, Hebron and Qabatiah catchments in Northern of West Bank/Palestine. The objective of this modeling is computing the design flowrates to be used in the hydraulic design of culverts in both Al-Badan-Al-Nassariah road and Qabatiah-Al-Jalameh road in Northern of West Bank/Palestine. Those design flowrates were computed through using the U.S. Army Crops of Engineers HEC-HMS Model, and with the help of the GIS.
