Responsible for planning new software products development, conversions, testing, and other work unit projects and activities. Evaluate programming and operational needs of work units to enhance effectiveness. Monitor project activity and data processing requests and work orders to estimate future resources requirements, forecast revenues and keep project teams informed of workloads. Resolve any changes in deadlines or specifications with clients or center management and communicate results to project team members. Review programming specifications to determine the impact of requested changes on other systems, programs and procedures. Elicit and clearly define client needs by assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential business solutions. Conduct business assessment review and walkthrough for complex banking software development projects. Create materials to communicate complex technical information to all audiences and specialized formal documentation for senior management/clients.
Design object-oriented application systems, objects, and interfaces. Maintain on-going contact with client personnel during project development and implementation to identify and resolve any problems or concerns.
Meet with clients to identify and define the business purpose and requirements for major products, new systems, policy changes, or related projects.
