Responsible for leading and supervising Chemical EOR Oil Surface Facilities Projects for Oman South Engineering to establish and execute facility plans to implement EOR and related Facilities that support reservoir development plans and programs. Identify and propose individual project opportunities, work within PDO management to source and allocate company resources to execute the projects and meet production targets in a safe, environmentally acceptable and cost effective manner, and in compliance with Company policies and government regulations.
Heading following Chemical EOR Projects :
*Marmul ASP (Alkaline Surfactant Polymer) Pilot Project (64 mln. US$)
*Marmul Polymer Flooding Project Phase-I - Completed (160 mln US$)
*Marmul Polymer Flooding Project Phase-II (36 mln US$)
*Nimr E & A Polymer Flooding (261 mln US$)
*Low salinity polymer - testing and Concept Development.
•Successfully delivered Polymer Flooding project at Marmul Oil field in South Oman, resulting in 1, 050 m3/day of incremental oil gain.
•At Present executing Polymer Phase-II project in brown field environment to deliver additional 19 polymer injection wells. Polymer Injection expected Q4 2014.
•Developed Alkaline Surfactant Polymer (ASP) Pilot project for Marmul from Trial, testing, Concept Design, FED to Project execution and delivery. ASP Injection expected Q4 2014.
•Leading the project execution with high requirement of HSSEQ and commitment to Goal Zero (no harm to people or environment).
•Management of change, risk management and project control.
Head of Project Services North leads the project support section, which provides assistance and expert advice to project engineers on Project Planning, Cost control, Document Control, SAP Support, Procurement Co-ordination and Contracting.
Principal Accountabilities
•Quality assurance and integration of all North project plans.
•Co-ordinating the input into the annual Business Plan.
•Spearheading the implementation of new Planning and Document control tools like Primavera and IM for projects.
•Provision of Cost control for all the directorate's projects.
•Providing input to corporate reporting in delivery teams or functional departments as per the requirements.
•Assist in the development, communication and implementation of the Project Management System (PMS) and supporting processes.
•Document Control and storage of all correspondence and deliverables from / with the directorate's contractors.
•Contract support for all the directorate's projects.
•Together with the procurement department, accountable for the co-ordination and control of the directorate's project materials procurement and expediting.
•Tracking and monthly reporting of the directorate's performance against the business plan. Responsible for updating cooperate Primavera schedule for project.
•Follow up all HSE related actions resulting from multiple audits.
Challenges
•In interface with Project teams, Asset/Area Engineering teams, and major contractors, ensure that established processes and procedures for obtaining Engineering/Project schedule inputs and services are implemented in the project deliveries.
•Clear and consistent monthly reporting, with proactive analysis of the directorate's performance in order to achieve continuous, top class reporting.

EPC Project : Steam EOR -150, 000 Barrels per Day Central Processing Facilities & Satellite for Occidental Mukhaizana Project- Oman.
Oil, Gas and Sulphur processing units, includes
1 Construction & Integration of two Satellite Stations,
2 Power & Steam generation and utilities,
3 Fire network
4 Tanks and offsite facilities,
5 Industrial buildings,
6 Civil works and pipe rack.
Note: I have sucessfully hold dual charge of Project Control Manager & Engineering Manager, due to sudden resignation of Engineering Manager.
Project Manager taking care of Project Budget, Construction Contract, Basic & Detail Engineering, and fulfilling requirement of statutory authority & stack holders. Addressing Safety, Health & Environment issues of the project. Coordination of ERP (SAP) implementation.
Joined as Management Trainee (Technical) with Indian Petrochemicals Corporations Ltd; worked at different levels and progressed to General Manager (Projects) position.
