As a Production Head my job profile is -
1. To Coordinate and liaison with clients and other Channels.
2. To Coordinate and liaison with various Embassies and High Commissions for shoot in their respective countries and make films for their projects in India.
3. To produce features (fiction and documentaries) on various social issues like education, girls education, child labour, sanitation and public health, women’s health, women trafficking, HIV, social abuses, alternate water resources, wildlife & environment etc.
4. To draw up the production design of the projects/programs concerned.
5. To finalise all financial packages, remunerations and deals.
6. To Identify and put together a team professionals required for the project.
7. To identify and finalise shoot locations for the program.
8. To get permissions to shoot from all concerned authorities viz, Home Ministry, Ministry of Defence, Govt of India, State Governments, Police, Archeological Society of India, etc
9. To ensure all necessary equipment and properties for the program are procured.
10. To ensure smooth audition and casting procedures.
11. Directly responsible for shoot management involving handling large crew.
12. Process all requisitions on the basis of need, merit and financial impact.
13. To ensure smooth functioning of the team.
14. Finally to ensure that the payments are received and made.
