Key Achievements
Infor LN Project: Infor LN tested out by organization. Installed and configured application and imported data as per organization’s requirement and updated the service packs. The application was installed on Microsoft Windows 2012 R2 Server using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 as database server (3 tier environment) having Active Directory installed. Covered the areas of Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, Sales, Procurement, Invoicing and Warehousing
Help Desk System: Initiated the Help Desk Implementation (Windows 2003& Manage Engine) which improved request fulfilment response from 2 down to 0.5 days
BaaN Server Migration (including Change management, risk management, availability and release management) installed the Operating System, configured and managed it in 5 hours so as to minimize the downtime due to day based operations. Migration of this service from RISC 6000 based server using AIX4.3 to pSeries 510Q based server having AIX 5.3 installed on it.
Website andemail server migration and Firewall Deployment: Planned, Installed and Configured the Website (IIS), Email Hosting (Mdaemon) & Domain Controller (Windows Server 2012R2) & Hyper V& Firewall Implementation (FortiGATE)and related services in 15 days prior to project deadline
Network Deployment and Data Service Provider: Configured the Routing and IP addressing in collaboration with service provider on Cisco Routers and completed the whole project in 15 days as compared to estimated time of 20 days

I analyzed the need and approached different vendors related to Desktop Supplies, after comparative analysis and negotiation I choose the one desktop vendor taken care the aspect of Service and Support across the country .The project was worth of Rs 2.25 million.
• Email Server Migration & Antivirus Corporate Deployment
Corporate Deployment of Antivirus Solution and migration of email server from old version to new one( Mdaemon). Designed the strategy, implemented and tested & also. Antivirus deployment which is of Norton Corporate edition and migration of mdaemon from version 6.5 to 9.6.5 on windows server 2003.The deployment has been done in two working days on 150 computers & configuration of email accounts was of 120 users.
• Security Policy Implementation
Designed the information security policy as per business requirement and implemented it on AIX 4.3 in two working days
• Backup Policy Design
Design and implemented the backup policy as per business requirement for critical servers and applications as per industry standard and verified it by taking the backups of critical business applications and servers
• Domain Controller, Proxy Server & File Server
I solely designed, configured and implemented the domain controller (Samba3), proxy server (Squid) and file server as per business requirement. All these services being configured on Fedora 8. These services cost us as a free as the linux distribution was used
During the training period I got the oppurtunity to learn the business processes of the company and also that how can i enhance my capabilties related to IT field as i have worked on Windows based Server machines and also related Mail Configuration and end user desktop support
My job is related to Network Operation Support by maintianing the relaible through put of the services which is being provided by eWorld being as Internet Service Provider.
