Demonstrated experience in Public Relation Works dealing with public construction project's. Dealing, handling, and resolving conflicts, feedbacks, complaints from the public and
residents pertaining to the project
Initiating dialogue with the public, residents, Municipalities, etc. as on public relation issues as directed by the Project Manager.
Conduct regular visits and ad hoc visit to residents affected by works and make a necessary report and feedback to the Project Manager and affected Resident.
Bilingual Arabic and English languages
understanding of Qatari Culture.
• Process all pertinent documents in reference to the criteria of immigration office, ministry of labor, government offices, ministry of foreign affairs, in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Process all pending application for employment visas, business visas, resident visas, exit visas and driving license.
• Prepare and process applications in the labor office as well prepare online application of immigration compliance with Qatar laws and regulations.
• Attest pertinent papers prior to approval.
• Keep records of personnel for visas, labor cards and other important documents.
• Communicate all new laws or rules issued by government including review of prices.
• Maintain absolute confidentiality of records.
• Process all required documents in Arabic.
• Prepare and apply correct documents for timely obtaining of visa for employees to ensure continuity of business
• Ensure timely renewal of visas and license to avoid fines and penalties
• Educate employees and other department staff in understanding the visa related procedures and provide necessary support.
• Represent the company at locations such as the police station, airport, hotels, embassies, ministries/municipalities and other significant departments and in accordance with requirements.
• Update self on the latest rules and regulations from the government related to business and communicate with the concerned.
• Train and educate all staff and workers on visa and immigration related procedures.
• Arrange medical tests, passports, memos, visa renewals on due dates.
• Manage the documentation of the employee as they enter/exit the country.
• Apply for, obtain approval and maintain records of all company related license, registrations, certificates and other documents.
• Organize visa for business travels, family residences, transit and renew them periodically.
• Maintain employee passports.
• Perform administrative and clerical procedures and systems such a word processing, managing files and records etc in the admin department.
• Maintain the record of visa, license validity dates and update management on the status periodically.
Public Relations & Secretarial
• To liaise between ministry of exterior and ministry of education in Sudan for certificate validities and authentications.
• Prepare and draft letters, memos and documents pertaining to embassy.
• Purchase functions for requirements of the embassy.
Special Consular Services
• Assists with the full range of special consular services.
• Maintains information sheets and handouts.
• Responds to public inquiries and telephone calls on the full range of routine consular services and passport issues including screening calls and referring specific and sensitive cases to the unit supervisor.
• Prepares documents for notary services and other services at the counter as requested.
Passport
• Assists with the full range of passport and citizenship services through data entry, consular system processing and window work with the public.
• Produces passports and reports of birth.
• Meets with the public to explain the application process, including basic qualifications, and accepts applications.
• Checks applications for accuracy and completeness; confirms information provided by applicants.
• Follows up on requests for action on cases in progress, and for information materials and application forms by mail, fax, phone, or at the public counter. Drafts replies to basic inquiries.
Public Information
• Performs a variety of public information tasks that may include responding to phone messages, e-mail, faxes and letters on consular issues.
Information Technology Help Desk
• Provide first-tier, end-user and technical support for embassy IT systems.
• Assist and resolve complex technical issues and questions on windows, MS office, software applications and networking.
• Entered data and records into the system for maintaining database.
• Verified that information in the computer system was up-to-date and accurate.
• Eliminated outdated records by sending the records to be scanned.
