Acquiring materials and services needed for ARAMCO projects. follow us on TBE/IAP submitals, follow up fabrications order to delivery local and globally. analyze technical requirements, identify suitable suppliers, and negotiate contracts. Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company, Identifies and researches potential new suppliers Researches new products and services to meet company's goals Assesses total costs of company purchases, Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels
Ensuring the Material Requisition, Material Submittals and Purchase Orders are prepared as per the project requirements. -
Process procurement of project materials requisitions
Ensure the materials / equipment are procured from the approved vendors and manufacturers.
Coordinate technical qualification through TBEs between vendors and technical team/contractor.
Evaluate, compare, and select best offer.
Expediting procure to pay cycle - follow up deliveries and payments… etc)
- Manage Sourcing Management of Products & Services of the Category (Commercial items) of both OPEX & CAPEX, and COS nature.
- Manage & Communicate Procurement Contractual Requirements (Payment, Warrantee, Delivery, Insurance and Lead-Time) for (Commercial items) Contracts, Creating POs then Timely & Correctly Manage due Local & Overseas Payments to (Commercial) Suppliers ensuring that their requirements (Acceptances, Receipts, GRNs, Advanced requests and Ex. Rates) are Correctly met, Communicated, Submitted and properly Settled.
- Management of Communication and Cross-Functioning with: Functional users, Technical Users, Contracts Administration, Zain Suppliers and Finance through Regular and Casual Meetings, E-mails, Standard Cross Functioning Teams Acts & Reports
- Contribute/ submit Initiatives to successful in Boosting Zain’s Innovative Experience and/or Efficiency
- Lead purchase officers and coordinate supply chain for local needs under centralize supply chain activities for Almamoun Group of companies, HISENSE for electronics, Duweishat mining company, West Omdurman farm, Shendi Farm, Golden Arrow, Tara Sport center, Tara food services, Jac for motor cars assembly, Sareen… Etc.
- Coordinate overseas shipments follow up with companies /business units (logistics, accounts and customs and clearance).
- Supervise purchasing team activities to comply with the policies for each company under group supply companies’ formulation.
- Receive, review and sort Purchase Requisitions.
- Process Purchase Orders and ensure their accuracy and completeness against good or service info/shipping/cost/payment/delivery terms, then obtain approvals.
- Prepare payments plans.
- Process purchases of consumables and stock items.
- Follow up finance payment and supplier collection.
- Follow up logistics/ customs and clearance.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure on time delivery and compliance of specs.
- Conduct market research to identify source of supply, certify their authorities then qualify as supplier through supplier’s selection criteria.
- Analyze quotations against projects specifications and requirements.
- Draft and negotiate contractual terms.
- Manage contracts. Maintain documents in systematic and retrievable manner.
- Report all procuring status to analyze spending’s, identify gabs, reorder consumables.
- Apply supply planning/reordering technique “Replenishment model” to ensure depots are wet all times.
- Request-analyze- quotations then award its supplier.
- Contract and manage supplier’s contracts.
- Process pre importation Government regulations requirements for Raw materials and finished lubes.
- Follow up customs, clearance, finance payments, overseas transfers against incoterms, logistics.
- Communicate timely information of product availability.
- Coordinate with customer service and operations for better Product/fleet Coordination.
- Investigate/report accidents. Ensure compliance with fleet management polices/contracts.
- Supervise fleet inspectors and fleet analyst.
