• Developed and implemented strategies for General Trade, Key Accounts and Modern Trade across the zone in terms of their visibility contracts, indoor/outdoor branding, Consumer and trade activations, Planograming and sales targets achievement.
• Extensive travelling.
Appointed by Unilever Pakistan as a distributor for Walls Ice-cream range of products in Lahore. I was servicing 1180 accounts including Modern Trade, Horeca, Leisure, Education, Stock point dealers(SPD) and General trade.
Total turnover was Rs.20.0 Million/Month(Rs.240 Million/annum)
I was managing a team of 35 people.
Responsibilities include:
• Reporting of OHS related issues to USHEC
• Maintaining a Zero injury company vision at all levels
• Searching new accounts for developing into key accounts.
• Analyze different channels shop outlay and suggest changes to improve shopper flow.
• Analyze shoppers purchasing patterns and complete insight of shoppers to identify FMCG maximum outlay places.
• Identification of emerging accounts and developing a contract for a year.
• Effective utilization of company assets.
• Translating marketing intentions into distribution realities.
• Participating in strategic company planning
• Forward planning of trade policies like launches/re-launches/trade deals etc.
• Monitoring competitors' activities and market conditions.
• Interface with Supply Chain and developing product availability policies.
• Initiating sales policies and monitoring their implementation.
• Appointments/monitoring of performance and making changes in Distributors as needed.
• Assessing Company and competitor activities and watching infringements/counterfeits.
• Maximizing sales with effective functioning of Sales team, distributors and Sales Office.
