Work Description & Earned Knowledge:

• Implementing, managing, and maintaining a Windows Server 2003/2008 Environment and Network Infrastructure for the Sever in the firm and branches.

• Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining Active Directory on Windows Server 2003/2008 Infrastructure for the firm and branches.

• Setting up user accounts, permissions, group policy, passwords, emails and files access, and internet permissions for users.
• Manage servers and devices using log monitoring tolls such as EventSentry (servers management side and agent)

• Perform system maintenance on any systems requiring patching and upgrading.
• Modify firewall configuration to add new network services, remove unnecessary or expired services and enhance existing services while maintaining firewall security policy.

• Oversees all telephone changes, including routing for seating assignments.
• Ensure backups for PC and servers and make constant updates.
• Perform immediate troubleshooting as the situation dictates for any and all network outages as reported by users, sensors, and/or operational personnel for the firm and branches.
• Maintain constant observance of network monitoring tools to facilitate quick reaction to any network outage
• Proactively utilize network monitoring tools to isolate events before service degradation occurs.
• Create Remedy trouble tickets for any corrective action taken for daily checks.
• Providing full Maintenance to all electronic devices (PCs, Laptops, Smart Boards, Servers, Printers, faxes, LCD’s, Monitors, Routers, Switches, wireless Devices, Networks medias) for the firm and branches.
• Installing, supporting and maintaining Software’s issues like updating, installing, solving problems.
• Monitoring network usage and productivity and internet usage.
• Providing training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence.
• Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products.
• Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies at the regional level.

Responsibilities:

3. Configuration of client's equipment to connect to the Internet via modem/DSL Router (Dialup/DSL customers only).
