•Review of the Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)
•Visual Inspection of Welding, Piping, Exhaust Stack Structure, Turbine Inlet Air Cooling system.
•Pipe line inspections for Fuel Oil & Gas system, Cooling Water system, GT Wash Water system, Instrument & Service Air system, Softened & Drinking water system U/G Fire Water system etc.
•Inspection for the Hydrostatic and Pneumatic Testing, Air Blowing & Liquid Fuel flushing.

•Co-ordination for NDE activities (Radiography, Ultrasonic, MPI & DPT).
•Inspection of Welding of Pressure Vessels, Boilers & Heat exchangers.
•To prepare WPS’s, PQR’s according to ASME Section IX.
•To deploy welders according to their qualification and monitor their Performance during job execution.
•Execution of projects as per drawings and specifications and responsible for their quality.
•To organize Welder’s /Welding Operator’s training.
•To maintain Welder’s /Welding Operator’s continuity List.
•To perform all Dye Penetrant Tests for all jobs.
•To prepare the Weld Map and Weld Matrix for the ASME coded pressure vessels, Boilers, Exchangers, Storage Tanks etc.
•To review the Laboratory Test Reports of Procedure Qualification, Welder Qualification, Production Test Plate and Welding Consumables Qualification as per applicable code.
•To deploy the welders on the job according to their qualification.

•Visual & Dimensional inspection of ASME coded pressure vessels as per code applicable code of construction and other Specifications at different stages to ensure the quality of job.
•Reviewing of MTRs or Laboratory Test Reports according to applicable specifications.
•Welding inspections and maintain related reports.
•To perform the final dimensional inspection of coded jobs.
•Hydrostatic/Pneumatic/Water fill Test inspections.
•Co-ordination with Client Inspector, ASME Authorized Inspector, Third party inspectors to implement their hold points.
•To prepare Manufacturing Data Reports.
•Maintain record of all documents related to the ASME coded jobs.
•Inspection of sand blasting to surface SA-3, SA 2.5, SA 2 etc.
•Surface preparation and protective coatings inspections.
•Overall execution of the job after design till installation.
•Managing and Review quality records for final handing over dossiers / IDM / MDM.
•Interpreting Codes / Standards / Specifications related to assigned jobs.
•Coordinating with ASME authorized inspector to implement Quality Control System to control the fabrication activities.
•Incoming materials inspection to ensure the conformance to project specifications according to applicable specifications and related procedure.
•Final inspection of U-Stamped jobs
•Coordinating with ASME auditors for the final audit to review ASME mark stamps.

During diploma, studied and performed welding and metallurgical processes like Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Tungsten Insert Gas Arc Welding (TIG), Submerged Arc Welding (SAW), Resistance Welding etc. Studied and performed Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT) and learned about different NDE methods. In Metallurgy, studied about Ferrous & Non Ferrous metals, Alloys & Steel making processes etc. also performed Metallographic Examination and different fabrication processes during Diploma of Associate engineer 6 Months Internship in QA\QC & Welding Inspection
