• Plans the production capacity (equipment, personnel) and schedules (incl. e.g. additional shifts) according to the requirements of the customer.
• Coordinates the optimal utilization of production equipment.
• Ensures the on time production.
• Controls the achievement of the daily, weekly and monthly targets according to schedule.
• Supports the Production control.
• Analysis of the production results from the previous day (e.g. efficiency, quality waste of products, rejects etc.) and identifies and introduces the necessary counter measures (e.g. KOSU, KATA) and/or ensures escalation .
• Ensures the continuous optimization and improvement of the production process within the area of the responsibility.
• Checks the ergonomics of the workplaces and initiate required improvement measures.
• Organizes the workplaces to eliminate the waste on the shop floor using 5S Methodology.
• Ensures proper handling of components and material, optimizes the in-process material storage.
• Uses and applies the PDCA cycle in order to improve the processes and systems from the area of responsibility.
• Leads cross-functional and contributes to the continuous improvement process.
Drives Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement (CI) deployment in the Company.
• Supports Operational Excellence Management to define the yearly main objectives / priorities for
Operational Excellence deployment to reach the plant objectives (e.g. plant cost rate; efficiency,
quality indicators)
• Supports Operational Excellence Management to deliver all needed communications,
explanations and support to ensure that Operational Excellence deployment is aligned with WSD

• Mobilize the organization through Employee CI, Management CI, Process
Excellence
• Drives CI Campaigns to mobilize the employees in CI
• Leads and/or supports workshops on the production area and indirect Area
• Follows up of the MM CI Workshops and escalates if necessary to Operational Excellence

Prepares timing plans, co-ordinates the activities necessary to ensure the successful introduction of new products, product design changes, modifications, and engineering change .
• Provides an effective day to day engineering support and responsibility for the unit including problem solving for the shop floor, customer, supplier, and other company functions.
• Support furniture of dedicated production equipment, ex. lay-up boards and test boards.
• Prepares and evaluates the full implications of changes and implements the changes that are required, signing off of new products, equipment, tooling, and layout requirements.
• Ensures compliance with the relevant statutory, Company, customer, supplier, quality regulations/procedures
• Create and validate production lines process flow to achieve smooth production and highest efficiency considering lean concepts.
• Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, process improvement, through lean techniques and value engineering to enhance the capability of existing processes and remove wastes.
• Raise & follow up facilities orders to have facilities on time.
Strategically plan and allocate the budget / resources required for future projects according to the project forecast plan.
• Manage all build phases (Customer orders) from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget; this includes initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing of customer projects.
• Handle kick-off meetings and follow up meetings with all other departments during project life cycle.
• Manages complete job process from order preparation, through manufacturing release, product shipment, post shipment support. Create implementation plans for every build phase; monitor and control project progress performance throughout project lifecycle - provide performance and status reports.
• Ensure the quality and quantity objectives are achieved.
• Manage products run in / run out process for every model year change to avoid any material or finished goods liability.
• Develop and maintain project plans and budget profiles to ensure delivery of milestones to agreed cost targets and timescales.
• Troubleshooter for daily production issues.
• Create production lines process flow to achieve high efficiency and smooth production by applying lean tools.
• Manage change management process with all functions to maintain smooth production.

• Moderation and control of standards within The Company.
• Review and update standards within all parties with reference to customer Requirements.
