Duties and Responsibilities:


• Coordinate and manage the stakeholder requirements within the team and similarly communicate the team requirements and objectives with the specific statutory authority/stakeholder.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of planning processes required to coordinate with the Authorities and government entities for clarifications, justifications and permitting by statutory authorities.
• Able to Interact with all Internal and External Stakeholders (Kahramaa, Ooredoo, Vodafone, QNBN, and all relevant Qatari authorities).

My public relations duties:
• Assist in the planning and launching in the Public Relations Program, including but not exclusive to the following tasks; (designing, printing and distributing notices and flyers and other forms to inform the public of the commencement of works on site, traffic diversions, lane closures, etc.)
• Prepare stakeholder management plan/reports and any related presentation to stakeholder.
• Manage daily communication with the public and other stakeholders, to address their concerns regarding project construction related queries. This includes, among other tasks, reporting on specific road closures with dates, project status information, project progress, etc.
• Provide a continued response to inquiries from the general public in relation to the ongoing construction works and be involved in resolving any conflicts resulting from the effects of the construction works on the public.
• Develop a plan to inform the public of the impact and progress of the project works throughout all of its phases of construction.
• Develop appropriate methods of communication to inform the local business people and residents about the development of the construction of the project.
• Regularly, communicate with the media (Newspapers/TV/Radio and Internet) and other interested parties regarding the progress of the construction works on site.
• Coordinate with relevant governmental institutions and people in charge to obtain the required legal approvals/ permits.
• Handle and resolve conflicts, feedbacks, or complaints from the public and residents relating to the project.
• Submit, follow up and obtain TDPs (Traffic Department Permits) for temporary traffic diversions.

• Write a monthly report to summarize the updated progress and achievement percentage.

My stakeholder engineer’s duties:
• Prepare and maintain a stakeholder management plan and have it reviewed by all parties to ensure that all stakeholder needs affecting the project are covered in the plan.
• Liaison with the required stakeholders to understand their needs on these projects in order to obtain their approvals.
• Maintain good working relationship with all internal as well as external stakeholders.
• Work closely with the designers and the technical teams within the GEC to ensure that the stakeholder demads are met, thus easing the end user approvals on the above projects.
• Attend regular interface meetings with key stakeholders (such as Kahramaa Electricity and Water Bi-weekly coordination meetings).
• Maintain constant dialogue with the contractor’s stakeholder manager to ensure that they follow the stakeholder requirements in their construction and not to allow any work to take place which has not had the end user consent.
• Participates in negotiations with regulatory stakeholders, agencies and in public meetings in support of clients’ interests.
