• Worked in liaison with headquarters in Geneva on Environment scanning file, to screen latest security and political developments, prepared analytical pieces on a weekly basis to map possible threats and opportunities for ICRC operations in Pakistan.
• Elected as a part of Environment Scanning in Crisis team for South Asia region, which included taking action on immediate reputation or real time crisis. Updating the concerned department and devising recovery strategy and mode of implementation.
• Responsible for real time monitoring of Social media and live news for any matter related to the reputation of the ICRC, its activities and mainly for the possible threats to its operations due to security reason in Pakistan.
• Independently worked on different projects for the ICRC acceptance in Pakistan including New Year Promotional Items Project and Ramadan Project.
• Managed ICRC South Asian digital media.
• Responsible for weekly operational reporting.
• Worked as a liaison with suppliers and logistics department for the design and follow-up of both Print and Audio Visual productions. Took the initiative to in house design different promotional items like Eid cards, New Year cards, folders, bags for the organization for consecutive two years.
• Managed ICRC publications and promotional stock, ensuring their continued availability and timely order.
• Assisted translations of different production materials from English to Urdu and vice versa.
• Organized different events including photo exhibitions, seminars and academic competitions.
• Maintained distribution lists for the external communication products (press releases, newsletters etc.)
• Improved contact database for the Communication Department.
• Ensured the exchange of information with communication staff in the field, ICRC’s offices in the region and Geneva as appropriate.
