In Lebanon, Expertise France ensures the consistency and implementation of the specific objective of QUDRA. The project seeks to improve social stability between communities in Lebanon through a comprehensive and local approach of protection for children and adults.
Job responsibilities:
- Market studies: Conduct market studies for different markets (IT equipment, Furniture, utilities, etc…). Draft suppliers comparison reports. Assist the procurement coordinator in draft tentative budgets.
- Planning: Assist the procurement coordinator in the draft of procurement plan. Strictly follow up the procurement plan.
- Procurement: respect procurement procedures by follow up with local suppliers for Quotations, purchasing files, contracts and selection of vendors.
- Rehabilitation of Social development centers: pre-construction phase: preparation of tenders, site visit with contractors and participate in rehabilitation management meetings.
- During Construction Implementation: Follow up on work process and contractors issues in the field and report to procurement coordinator.
- Site closing: Attend site hand-over, report deficiencies and insure that all document are properly archived and backed up as soft copies.

Security coordinator at Mercy Corps

Job responsibilities:
To coordinate with formal authorities (army, internal security forces ……) in Lebanon and with the main active parties and municipalities were Mercy Corps operating.
- Ensure the implementation of safety and security polices and standard operation procedures.
- Reviewing and updating of Security Management Plan, Contingency Plans, evacuation plan and SOPs.
- Monitor national, social, political and security issues and inform senior staff of issues that affect, or may affect, Mercy Corps Programs, assist the Security Adviser when working with Mercy Corps programs and Senior Management in order to evaluate current and future programming based on current local security situation and adjust where needed.
