Responsible for all the technical / engineering issues of the group. Then I am acting as General Manager for Lootah Building and Construction and reporting directly to the Group Chairman. Lootah Building and Construction is Classified unlimited at Dubai Municipality. Lootah group of companies is a well known group established in the year 1973 and expanded to have more than 16 sister companied in the field of contracting, civil engineering, steel fabrication, infrastructure, aluminum, carpentry, bitumen, marble, ready mix concrete and steel reinforcement.

Responsible for all the technical issues of projects. The company is undertaking prestigious projects such as ROTANA 5 stars hotel and resort at Sa’adyat Island of Abu Dhabi. The project is design and built project with an overall cost of 620M AED. Also the company is undertaking the headquarter offices of EMAL of EGA (Emirates Global Aluminum). The project is also design and build project with an overall cost of 320M AED including the infrastructure and landscaping works. The company is also undertaking several residential towers at Dubai and Abu Dhabi

Although I am the Assistant General Manager, I am having the role of Technical and Operations manager. During this period, M/s Seapal contracting had handled the following projects:
 Al Rawafid Private schools at Khalifa A city of Abu Dhabi, the school had been designed and supervised by M/s Architectural Engineering Consultants of Abu Dhabi, the total built area is 12, 000 m2 while the plot area is 18000m2. He school is fully furnished with labs, sport halls, external play fields and sidewalks. Also the school was equipped with all the LVS systems CCTV, BMS, central clock system and access control system. The schools had been handed over on time.
 Dar Al Shifa one day surgery hospital owned by M/s Al Khaja Group of Abu Dhabi with a total build area of more than 3000 m2. The hospital had been designed by M/s Graham Jons Aliwan of Abu Dhabi (Construction phase).
 Qarran Commercial building at Mohamed Bin Zayed city consisting of 3 basements, ground floor, mezzanine, seven typical floors, roof and top roof (Construction phase).
 Construction of two underground water tanks (2 M gallon each), chlorination building, control building and pumps building. The Client is M/s ADEA of Abu Dhabi and the Consultant is M/s ECOM (Construction phase).
 Refurbishment of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Western region schools project. The Client is M/s ADEC and the Client’s representative is M/s MUSANADA. The project duration is two years and could be extended one more year. (On - going project).
 Refurbishment works at Al Dhafra air force base, the Client’s representative is M/s AMROC (On- going project).

M/s Silvertech Middle East is system integrator of control engineering software. I had joined Silvertech to lead the Civil Engineering section for the SCADA project of Abu Dhabi Municipality. My contribution extended from the tender stage to the construction period till the project handover. The project had been designed and supervised by M/s Parsons International Limited of Abu Dhabi. I had helped in preparing the technical submittals during the tender stage, the control building and civil works cost estimation. I had led the construction team during the construction period and handing over the project.
Essential duties and responsibilities
• Involved in all the activities related to the construction works of projects.
• Organization, execution and supervision of projects related works from the concept to completion.
• Implementing health & safety policies.
• Monitoring projects documentations.
• Meetings with consultants & clients.
• Material submittals, material requisitions, tendering and costing.

• Close monitoring of all the critical activities of the projects.
• Organizing regular meetings to review the progress.
• Raising notifications for variations, delay in approvals & extension of time using FIDIC and particular conditions of contract.
• Assessment of subcontractor claims using relevant standards (FIDIC) and contract documents.
• Assisting the contracts department in finalizing the contract agreements of subcontractors using the standards (FIDIC).
• Co-ordination with the concerned Electro - Mechanical Subcontractors.
• Executing works according to Authority standards like ADM, ADWA, Civil Defense and Etisalat.

My main Responsibilities

• Contribute to the successful financial management of the department.
• Ensure effective planning, purchase and record keeping of
appropriate physical resources within the department.
• Plan and allocate human requirements within the department.
• Participate in, and ensure the implementation of SEWA performance management and professional development
• Produce statistical returns and reports on the work of the
department as required.
• Close monitoring of all the critical activities of the projects.
• Organizing regular meetings to review the progress.
• Organization, execution and supervision of projects related works from the concept to completion.
• Implementing health & safety policies.
• Monitoring projects documentations
