Manage planning, acquisition, project and handover teams developing the Telco network infrastructure/ICT/IoT/Smart city solutions across UAE (E2E) @ high manpower scale exceeding 100 direct resources and hundreds of indirect resources.
Manage the projects baseline and frameworks according to signed agreements with vendors and customers respectively.
Lead the process of Telco/ICT/Smart city/IoT projects lifecycle (identification-initiation-planning-Implementation-handover) and take the accountability against agreed objectives and targets.
Manage the process of IoT/smart city proposals to end customer (technically, budgetary and PIP)
Manage the financial (OPEX, CAPEX/CPI’s) process/recognition/collection in line with company’s defined baseline and setup target for each project ( annual budget responsibility around 60million USD, accumulative budget is around 750million USD)
Support business unites for return of investment (ROI) measurement against all enterprise and smart city/IoT solutions and customize commercial proposals accordingly.
Manage the risk analysis, register and mitigation plan consistently across the projects baseline.
Professional priority management considering the value, return and timeline for each projects
Develop/adopt professional project management tools and platforms to insure standard view, progress, highlights, risks for all projects according to agreed baseline.
Manage the customer relationship, communication, periodic feedback and focus on areas of improvement adopting continued efficiency enhancement.
Lead the process of proof of concepts, use cases and case studies for all wireless technology firms, average of 20-30 cases on yearly bases.
Manage all vendors/contractors for service/projects delivery according to agreed PIPs & milestones
Lead the process of business investment, project initiation (PID) and yearly budget allocation
Support all business units finalizing the contractual agreements “SOW’s, contracts, contractual schedules, payment terms and LD’s” with all assigned vendors
Support the tendering process RFI’s/RFQ’s/RFP’s (technically and commercially)
Support all frame-agreements with key customers for enterprise wholesale SME/LE accounts/IOT and smart city projects
Manage all key meetings with internal/external customers, developers and project stakeholders
Manage the process excellency, efficiency and improvement in-line with ISO-TL9000 standards
Manage the quality KPIs of projects delivery and hand over process to operations team
Manage network full turnkey infrastructure projects (mobile, user experience, and smart-city-IoT)
Setup manpower plan for each project and create personal development plan (PDP’s) for the team members and supervise the progress
Provide all necessary progress review reports to business heads including “next go”
Provide structured consultancy to business heads as needed
• Lead the development process of indoor LTE network, nationwide
• Plan, and deliver the high profile projects effectively and timely.
• Coordinate the operational requirements of the projects.
• Provide strategic consultancy support in business operations and identifying enabling technologies based on customer’s requirements.
• Drive the delivery plan and targets of the mobile in-door solutions across the whole UAE.
• Effectively manage all involved vendors and contractors of the projects
• Lead the technical tendering process, tender’s/RFI’s/RFQ’s/RFP’s, evaluations and participate with the commercial scope as well.
• Creating the plan of the specific and defined VIP projects
• Liaison with section heads within Mobile Access for projects delivery.
• Lead the network expansion program over the critical sites nationwide (Malls, airports, stadiums, etc..)
• Handle the mobilization plan of Femto-cell platform
• Lead the test procedure (POC) for any new technology, product or implementation-related features
• Participate/lead the interaction process with the external authorities like TRA, Etisalat, government
• Lead the development/implementation process of shared-infrastructure with the local operator (Etisalat)
• Documenting the Project progress and information for Project management, tracking & archiving purpose.
• Feasibilities of New business opportunities and updated smart/cost effective solutions through out trials.
• Lead the quality control process to deliver the standards, requirements and quality measures complying to the international standards of ISO-9001/TL9000.
• Lead the interaction process with the end customers/major clients, customer care center, regulatory, real-estate, commercial and government relation teams.
• Lead the budget, realization, and capitalization of all IBS projects across the UAE
• Contribute in the OPEX/CAPEX reduction on yearly basis in line with the company strategy
• Supervise all vendors/direct contractors (NSN, Motorola, ADC, Leblanc, Andrew, Huawei, etc…)
• Ensure all field work is done in accordance with all applicable du standards
• Handling the quality inspections for all mobile sites (active, passive and hybrid solutions)
• Measure and monitor project progress to ensure that all sites are delivered on time
• Provide weekly/monthly progress reports highlighting the status and progress of the various phases of the rollout and network build
• Providing weekly high level management summary of critical issues and achieved milestones
• Create on a monthly basis a network performance report detailing the achievement of KPIs and SLAs
• Supplying inputs to update the Project Implementation Plan
• participate with the development of various types of documentation for project implementation phases
• Lead and manage the special/sensitive projects, E2E.
• Participate in evaluating the IBS commercial process.
• Handle the commercial issues/requirements where needed through out PRs/POs
• Handling all the oracle(ERP) processes/activities of controlling the payment/invoices of du’s contractors in coordinating with the involved parties(finance, Procurement and project control)
• Participate with the assessment of acceptance certificates, PAT, PAC, and final acceptance FAC.
• Lead the site acceptance process, provide high level of defect reports and supervise the site clearance process
• Supervise the site integration process and assure all integrated sites are clear and carrying traffic
• Participate in preparing specifications and requirements for mobile sites
• Supervise the telecom installation (BTS’s, Antennas, feeders, rectifiers, fiber, etc...)
• Participate in the preparation of any network related reports as required or requested by the telecommunication regulatory authority(TRA)
• Fault Management - support NMC operations in resolving faults that may occur in the network elements (related to Radio, Switching, GPRS, Transmission and IN equipment).
• BSS (Base Stations System) Performance Management - support NMC operations in identifying cells and network elements with low performance and ensure that all network elements operate as per expected performance and quality thresholds (Tracking network behavior (STATS)).
• Performing KPI analysis and network service improvement recommendations.
• Interfacing with Customer Care groups to address subscriber complaints.
• Coordinating with other groups such as Cell Planning, Implementation, Network Operations Center and vendors in ensuring proper integration of new cell sites.
• Handling major events and following up the professional procedures In case of abnormal periods and crisis cases that could happen.
• Providing Information, feedbacks and reports to top mgmt and related divisions.
• Explaining microwave experiments sorted in the manual for the students
• Implement the theoretical part in the LAB and verify the expected results
