Leading a group of 220 employees in 7 production lines with following activities:
Production Operations Monitoring & Execution (30%)
• Monitor and analyze process (and machine) downtime and efficiency information to respond to operational needs
• Communicate process/equipment delays to appropriate levels of management as well as subsequent shifts
• Making the best machines utilization for daily various SKU’s to achieve the monthly OEE.
• Coordinate finished product and material delivery and pick-up with Warehouse.
• Monitor and ensure batch record requirements and applicable SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are being followed/executed properly.
Batch Record Review and Completion (20%)
• Discover and correct any documentation errors that occur.
• Ensure no documentation omissions exist and all activities are documented at the time of performance
• Ensure batch record reviews allow achievement of desired first pass quality
• Meet with subsequent shift group leader to review critical batch record information and documentation.
Talent Development and Coaching (20%)
• Develop supervisors/operators in their respective competencies via coaching and creating opportunities to learn/perform new responsibilities
• Communicate client demand, processing instructions and objective to team members
Set-up/Tear down/Clearance (15%)
• Set-up for three shift operations.
• Allocate appropriate personnel and monitor changeover times to established targets
• Ensure all auxiliary equipment (i.e. forklifts, inkjet/thermal printers, conveyors, etc) is available for production use per schedule
Continuous Improvement, Training, and Safety (15%)
• Solicit feedback from operators on how we can make their job better or easier
• Work with Finishing Training, Supervisors, peers, and operators to update/improve SOPs and Batch Records
• Encourage and promote good safety practices; provide immediate feedback to staff if there is an unsafe condition/practice occurring
• Support and Sustain 5S environment
• Create new initiative to guide the team for better efficiency and less cost.
1- Managing day to day production activities.
2- Planning, directing, and coordinating the manufacturing of products in compliance with company goals and objectives.
3- Maintaining employee safety and morale by creating safe working and efficient working environment.
4- Management of the implementation of the procurement processes monitoring system and mechanisms to eliminate deficiencies in procurement of the new machines and its spare parts.
5- Elaboration and implementation of cost saving and reduction strategies.
6- Placing the purchase orders with the suppliers accordingly after receiving the purchase requisitions from MRP Section.
7- Updating the tracking sheets, following up the correspondences with the suppliers, forwarders, and any other parties on a daily basis.
Lead a group of 220 employees in 2 production lines with worker’s skill matrix.
•Overall supervisor of new coating production lines (installation & start up).
•Planning, directing, and coordinating the manufacturing of products in compliance with company goals and objectives.
•Maintaining employee safety and morale by creating safe working and efficient working environment.
•Managing the purchasing, stock control, distribution, production-scheduling tasks for multiple manufacturing regions.
•Complete load study for the department to make load balance for all processes in the line.
•Established and adjusted work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Planned, directed, coordinated and assigned manpower to efficiently meet production requirements. Organizing dies production and maintenance.
• Lead a group of 50 employees in 2 production lines.
